Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Publisher's Summary
Secrets of the Millionaire Mind reveals the missing link between wanting success and achieving it!
Have you ever wondered why some people seem to get rich easily while others are destined for lives of financial struggle? Is the difference found in their education, intelligence, skills, timing, work habits, contacts, luck, or choice of jobs, businesses, or investments?
The shocking answer is: none of the above!
In his groundbreaking Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, T. Harv Eker states, "Give me five minutes, and I can predict your financial future for the rest of your life!" Eker does this by identifying your "money and success blueprint". We all have personal money blueprints ingrained in our subconscious minds, and it is these blueprints, more than anything, that will determine our financial lives. You can know everything about marketing, sales, negotiations, stocks, real estate, and the world of finance, but if your money blueprint is not set for a high level of success, you will never have a lot of money - and if somehow you do, you will most likely lose it! The good news is that now you can actually reset your money blueprint to create natural and automatic success.
Secrets of the Millionaire Mind is two books in one. Part I explains how your money blueprint works. Through Eker's rare combination of street smarts, humor, and heart, you will learn how your childhood influences have shaped your financial destiny. You will also learn how to identify your own money blueprint and "revise" it not only to create success but, more important, to keep and continually grow it.
In part II you will be introduced to 17 "Wealth Files", which describe exactly how rich people think and act differently from most poor and middle-class people. Each Wealth File includes action steps for you to practice in the real world in order to dramatically increase your income and accumulate wealth.
If you are not doing as well financially as you would like, you will have to change your money blueprint. Unfortunately your current money blueprint will tend to stay with you for the rest of your life unless you identify and revise it, and that's exactly what you will do with the help of this extraordinary book. According to T. Harv Eker, it's simple. If you think like rich people think and do what rich people do, chances are you'll get rich, too!

Very insightful but please don't do hard sell
The book provided great insights about money and wealth. It paves a way to entrepreneurial mindset, however, I did not like the way the author is trying to hard sell his seminar. He refers to it at least once in every 4 sentences or so. It's OK to advertise but too many references to the same thing undervalues the original content.

Why Broke Trump
As I started listening to this book I keep hearing Trump being mentioned. I understand you want give examples of wealthy people. However, the toxic, broke Trump shouldn’t be your best example. He has never been wealthy, I believe the authors motive is to push his political view into his readers. Sad, as Trump would say🤮

Covers a lot on mindset. Discusses Offense and Defense of finance, but is lacking in rules of the game. A bit more loose with spending vs delayed gratification. Similar to FFP in concept, but meaningful content is scattered and has a bit more hype than suits me.

Great Content
I really like this book it was an amazing reminder of what your mindset must be like in order to really be successful because if you do not change your financial blueprint, you will never change the amount of money you're able to receive, so all in all great book.
The only thing that bothered me was the amount of time he mentioned his seminar.
I'm all for promotions I'm in sales, I run a business and I get it.
To make money in this business of book writing I understand he must upsell you to higher ticket programs in order to really maximize profits however it was done so many times it lost its effectiveness and just became like a Geico commercial that you seen 100 times.
Other than that this book, bar none is one of the best insightful accounts on how our minds work and how we see ourselves how we see the rich and what our financial blueprint.
I will listen to this once every month as he suggests in the book, for the next year even though I'll have to endure the incredibly painful pitch fest in this book.
I'll do it because I'm willing to do whatever it takes. Thanks for the book T. Harv, who knows maybe I'll see you at a seminar soon.

Really good sales pitch
although the book does offer some good advice and tactical way of thinking about money.
70% of the book is a sale pitch about attending the seminar run by the author. The belief that you will only every have the same amount of money all your life unless you basically attend the authors seminar so you can fix your financial blueprint offers no really help to people in the book and can be disheartening.
The book is an insight into the seminar and would only recommend this to a middle class yuppie like the author or someone who has no clue about money at all..

Not worth the time
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Not what I would say is a good read to many methods to try and sell memberships and courses. It is also amid at site visits so he can have a better google ranking
What was most disappointing about T. Harv Eker’s story?
Very disappointing it is just aimed at pulling in people to the courses he offers.
How could the performance have been better?
dont put in all those direct sales
You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I would not recommend this book as it is all a boot for sales
Any additional comments?
Very poor book and the advice is all about you going to the website for sales and further promotions as you need to sign up for the extra items he offers. You will than get sales letters and emails to convert you in spending thousands

Cringey but worth the read
I read alot of these kind of books with an open mind, and generally take alot of the over the top stuff with a pinch of salt, however, with this book it was so cringey that it was hard to overlook. The declarations made my face shrivel every time they were mentions, and playing this out loud, I had to turn around and make sure nobody was in the room out of embarrassment. Like others said, it was sprinkled with intermittent sales pitches, however, these I could overlook and didn't affect the book as a whole. On the positive side, the book did cover some interesting points that do hold value. Which at the end of the day is the reason I read these books. There's always some nuggets of gold in there somewhere. Worth the read if you are a serial business book reader. If not, don't bother, there are hundreds of better ones.

Reading this has changed my thinking of money
It has changed my perception of money, rich people and poor people forever. It explains so much, why the rich think the way they do so keep rich and why I may think the way I do. Exceptional book.

UP SELLING
There is some good bits in this book but it's a shame that he continues talking about his courses. I wonder if this is the purpose of this book is to try to get you signed up on his courses

Finances, mindset and consciousness
Learning differences between poor/middle class and rich people not only in financial way but in abundance of life, consciousness of our own behavior and setting right way a good mindset is what I've got from this book. One of the best books what I've had and recommend to all people who have interest in those subjects.

First half is a bit wanky, second half is good...
Very America with the whole think yourself to wealth in the first half, but the second half is filled with a bit more substance and strategy.

good information well written
An interesting look at how scaling up is often held back by a subconscious fear of failure.
