This series is getting more thrilling and more exciting with each book in the series. Seriously, that cover doesn't at all come close to the mystical adventure ride this series is.
So now Suzy is back after her stint at the Hemlock Academy and that one was also such a smashing one (book 2).
Everything is normal as can be in a town like nightshade but when a werewolf is found turned to stone, the werewolf clan is mad and there are questions left and right as to who can be behind this.
Suzy and the gang, our cute, two centuries old dwarf, Alfie; Suzy's familiar, Snowball; Val, Suzy's vampire boyfriend and the town preacher along with Joe the werewolf head, join forces to find out the culprit before something like that happens again.
Oohh... This one sure kept me on my toes with the suspense vibes and the twists that come out of left field.
Once again we are taken onto a wild ride from the forests, to the outcast town of Safe haven that's full of gargoyles, witches, dragons and all kinds of mystical creatures.
Reading this book, this series, definitely feels like been taken on a roller coaster ride but make it magical, fascinating, mystical and suspense filled.
Ahhh... I had a blast listening to this one and yes, I sneaked in every minute I could to listen to it because I couldn't wait to find out what happens next.
There's an absolutely jaw dropping secret that comes out and Suzy is equally shocked as everyone else.
But I can't believe how beautifully Ms. Woods has written this story that I was equally shocked one minute with the reveal and my heart was melting the next, with the emotions and feelings that turn brings.
Our narrator, Rebecca Mitchell, you're beyond amazing for the perfect way you enact each character and I feel like I'm actually listening to different people.
Seriously, I can't get enough of this series and now the finale is coming and I'm not ready to let go of my favorite characters. Ahhh..
AND.... What the heck was that ending... Oh my... Can't dive fast enough in the next book. Loved freaking loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
