Publisher's Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of The 4 Pillar Plan, written and read by Dr Rangan Chatterjee.
In The 4 Pillar Plan, Dr Rangan Chatterjee presents us with an incredibly simple framework for taking control of our health. He divides health into four pillars: diet, rest, sleep and movement. By making small, easily achievable changes in each of these key areas, you can find and maintain good health - and avoid illness. You don't need to excel at any one pillar - what matters is the balance across all the things you do, including:
- Having an electronic 'sabbath' once a week
- Aiming for 12 hours every day without food
- Exposing yourself to sunlight first thing each morning.
Based on cutting-edge research and his own experience as a GP, and featuring fascinating case studies from real patients, The 4 Pillar Plan is an inspiring, easy-to-follow and practical guide to good health.

Inspires you to take better care of yourself
There's lots of good advice gathered together in this book and it's laid out in a logical fashion. Much of the advice is available in other books so it's not revolutionary but it is good to have it brought together. The book's 4 pillars are about bringing balance to your self care regime in that you don't just concentrate on food and exercise but also work on sleep and relaxation.

Amazing
This is an extremely powerful book, yet simple and realistic in its objectives. Dr Chatterzee is extremely likable and I really like how he is clearly is in touch with ballancing life in modern society, when work and parenting breeds so many sloppy lifestyle habbits when you are heavily deprived of time and sleep. Having 3 children 3 years and under and struggling in every area this book touches on I found this book really resonated with me.

The 4 Pillar Plan
It's a rare occasion to come across a doctor who is interested in identifying and treating the cause rather than giving medication for the presenting symptoms. A truly uplifting book and hopefully, will give hope to long suffering patients, like myself who have battled to convince doctors that medication is not the only way to treat disease. Thank you.

Discovered Dr. Chatterjee's Feel Better Live More podcast series by accident and began listening to them each day commuting to and from work. Finally paused them long enough to listen to this book, and I was not disappointed. Extremely informative, and the science behind it is explained in such a way using lots of metaphors that makes it easy to understand. And really glad it was narrated by the author himself as he makes it very easy to listen to. Cant wait to put his recommendations into action, and will be recommending this book to everyone I know!
