I had tears

I focused 100% on these words. I read this per my wife's request.
I feel her pain now as I just didn't get it.
I had tears as I realized how hard she has been trying to make things work.
Such devotion is priceless and I will work to make this happen.
Great words

Good alternate version of this best seller.

compared to the original, this new and improved men's version is all you need. It accomplishes what it intends - a guys version of the original including two additional chapters of material (anger and apologies) which probably make this better than the original).

Better geared at men

alot of the same as the original but with a better gearing towards men. Women get this one for your husband's maybe they'll figure it out. watch it though most of us are thick and it'll take a time or two. get it in hard back that way you can use it to beat it into our head.

Just listen to it and make her happy

If you could sum up The 5 Love Languages for Men in three words, what would they be?

great ideas, great voice, great book. I am Highly recommending this book for anyone who want to make his girlfriend/wife happy. Just simply don't know how. Of course just listening to this book will not make her happy. You have to be creative and take action. But after you will be not that clueless about what to do. There is a chapter about forgiving too, which i loved. My advice: Consider her main LOVE language is every 5 (touch, words, gifts, time and deeds) and you want to overflow every type of her LOVE-tanks. Biggest take - aways:- surprise her.- overdo it.- don't lie. ever.- apologize.- forgive.- you already know what to do.

Was said to be for men, but is almost the same...

It was advertised in the first book I got (the 5 love languages) as being more geared towards men (specifically those who couldn't identify their love language in the other one... But now that I heard it out, it's more or less the same thing (even the same examples)... What a waste of time and money

Very unsatisfying!

Good

This addition is not an extension to the original version. If you read the original book then this is just an extra read that have most of its parts repeating. I was expecting more stories and details.. it is ok, but not for someone that have just finished the original version and wanted to read more about the topic.

Fantastic book!

This book assisted me to further understand how my girlfriend wants to be treated. However be careful if you tell her about it because she got offended when I did and asked why I am trying to figure her out hahaha

It’s an okay read.

The book is akin to reading about body language, we already innately know what this, and if we dedicated the time to working it out, we may have found them out on our own. This book speeds up the process.

You will get a few “aha” moments as well. For example my ‘love language’ is ‘Acts of Service’ and the only long term relationships that have worked out after the two or three year honeymoon period is over, have been with partners that have ‘Acts of Service’ as their primary love language. The partners that needed gifts lasted days or weeks at best. The book makes you think, however I found the book in places not relevant. I listened to the book a second time and found the same thing happened; I got bored in parts. I was trusting that by listening to the book again with fresh educated ears I might get something new, I didn’t; the best I could muster in this is I am super happy that my partner is the rarer “same as me” love language. I don’t think I would cope with gift giving, words of affirmation, and although I can do quality time or touch, I couldn’t do this for a lifetime full on.

Maybe these questions could be on dating sites so you can find the right one now, and not wait for the honeymoon period to be over. 😊
