Amazing performance...the stories tho..

this was pretty fun to listen to and never boring. But some of the stories were very meh. but I would still recommend for a painting background book or if your working and not able to put your full attention to the book.

Excellent narration and production, immersive action throughout. "The Great Tomb" is a standout.

Title is wrong in the listing tho.

Would recommend

Some of the stories are better than others, but the performances are fantastic and the action scenes are great. My favorite ones are The Glorious Tomb, Daedalus, and Fireborn.

Great starter for anyone new to WH40K.

I loved every story and it reminded me a lot of the Astartes video series which if you haven't seen yet, you need too. The only issue I have is that we don't have more Adeptus Astartes Audio Collections like this.

Great stories, bad mixing

one of the best and worst features of this collection is the variety of voices and sound effects. well the addition of bolter fire in the background and the sound of servos and the where I am jet engines adds great ambience there are times where the audio mixing is poor and so these sounds overwhelm the actual narration.overall it's still a positive experience and I highly recommend it but that's something to take into consideration. it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Visceral, some interesting bits

This is an audio drama. Multiple voice actors, sound effects, background noises. Several of the settings are intense, and disturbing. Audio portrayals of slow, painful deaths. If you are concerned this could be traumatic for you, steer clear. “Taker of heads” is particularly disturbing.

If the idea of fleshing out the experience of being in the 41k millennium is of interest to you, that is where this shines. What are the predominant rituals of a space marine chapter? What is the activation ritual of a dreadnaught actually like? If these interest you, this is a decent purchase.

The stories are a
Mixed bag. The Crimson Fist story is very disappointing. The Black Templar one is great. Most go on longer than is necessary. The voice acting is good, the sounds effects and background noises are ok, though at times far to repetitive.
