About this listen

In the age of Kali, you need a new path to achieve all that you dream of.

What if someone told you that those age-old lessons on which you’ve based your whole life are ineffective today?

What if they also told you that you could live a better, more fulfilling life by following the path of the Asuras?

Is it not worth investigating what made the Asuras so successful against even the gods and trying to learn from them in this age of strife, chaos and discord?

In his first nonfiction work, Anand Neelakantan, the national best-selling author of Asura: Tale of the Vanquished, explores a contrarian way of living that makes more sense in this Kali Yuga.

With great skill and logic, Anand shatters the myths associated with the so-called six enemies of the mind—anger, passion, greed, infatuation, pride and competitive spirit.

He explains how following conventional advice holds you back from achieving success and happiness in life. Using riveting examples from mythology, he demonstrates how these same six qualities can propel you in the direction of success and help you achieve your goals.

Namaskaram Sri Anand Neelakantan,

Thank you so much for sharing this hidden gem of wisdom with the world. I cannot explain how enlightened, clear, motivated, inspired and happy I am feeling after reading your book. Thank you so much for answering to the ever existing 'WHY?' related to the do's and don'ts, rights and wrongs, good and bad and more that has been taught to almost all of us (Indians) since childhood for which we almost never got a correct reason or answer. After Valmiki's women this work of art of yours has touched deeply.

The Asura way is one of the best self help books that, I must say, will help people work on their childhood conditioning and grow in the areas that have been hampered due to dilemmas of morality, ethics and culture. It is giving us a different view of looking at the knowledge we have been given by our elders, at times without thinking by themselves, and see what is beyond those limited views of the past that we feel are irrelevant or obnoxious.

Thank you so much again 🙏 for all the lessons of this life you shared in your book and inspiring us.

Namaskaram 🙏
