Publisher's Summary

Jess Carter wasn't looking for a place to belong when she arrived in Banks, Idaho. It was supposed to be a temporary spot to finish out her last year of high school and bond with her dad. Meeting Dom changed everything.

Now, the Pack needs her. Dom needs her. And she's figuring out she needs them if they plan to survive what's coming.

A challenge has been issued, and if the Pack doesn't respond, they'll be seen as weak. With the motel at capacity, they have a lot to lose if the challenge coming their way isn't met.

Caleb is struggling, Anna is absent, and Sam refuses to see her brother or father. Can Jess bring them together before the Hanleys finish tearing them apart?

Contains mature themes.

Wow.

If you dont believe in Jess and Dom's bond after the first book, you will after this one. Hot damn, they really test each others control in this book, and I'm completely here for it. Probably shouldn't listen to it in public, as I had to squeal everytime Dom said something about how he cant resist her. Yep, you heard me. I squealed.
The plot flows nicely, and more characters are introduced for you to love. I had to get the next book IMMEDIATELY after I finished this.

Book 2 doesn't disappoint!

Book 2 continues off the story in book 1. The twist and turns in this story keeps the listener engaged and sitting at the end of their seat to see what is going to happen next. I like the family feel in this book even though some family/pack members have loss their way in the past, I really enjoyed that family love was never lost.

I don't think there needed to be 2 narrators for this book. Beth Roeg does an excellent job with her voices, and it just changed the feel of the story due to different voices of the characters when Paul jumped in, I just didn't think that was needed at all. Overall, I am enjoying the series, and I look forward to the last couple of books. I just got book 3 "DOM" and I can't wait to hear how this story continues.

Awesome!

I love this series. It is one of my favorites. The characters Kristin has created are amazing. The building of each character is great. Trent, the lone wolf is my favorite. He's witty, protective, and all around a great guy. Dom and Jess are great together. He will do almost anything for her. Except put her in danger. But it doesn't stop her from putting herself in danger.

You will not be disappointed in this series. It's a must have!

Dom's voice was a complete disappointment.

for Dom's voice I was expecting a husky, more manly voice one that fit Dom's description in the book. this guy's voice does not and for that matter, neither does the model on the cover of the book but whatever.

Book 2 had some really funny parts and sad! I loved the friendship of Dillon and Monster! I thought I was going to hate Monster's character by the little kid had me laughing. I wanted more between Jess and Dom but not yet! Cant wait ti start book 3!

Great Book!

I love the story and the way it shifts back and forth between Jess and Dominic POV. it's well read for the most part and I like how the Narrator changes her voice to fit the characters. All in all, a great book!

Better than the first

I am happy I stuck with the story after a sub par book one. Finally some much needed information about Jess and her dad was supplied. Btw. I absolutely love Monster he is my favorite character thus far. Looking forward to book three.

Beth Roeg Rocked it!

Beth is an excellent Narrator. Paul Brion was the worst narrator I’ve ever heard. No emotion at all.

Second book reassures!

I was hoping that the series would continue to be good and it did not disappoint! I can’t wait to start book 3! If it wasn’t 3:30 a.m. I would.

2nd part of three - not a stand alone

We carry on learning about the ‘pack’. Lots of mismatched love interests that are not resolved in this book. You need the 3rd book to complete the story I guess.
