Before the scars. Before the secrets. Before Jane Ashcroft learned just how dangerous curiosity could be.Jane needs a fresh start. A fake name, a clean record, and a dog-walking job in Paradise Bluff—one of Phoenix’s most exclusive gated communities—might finally give her one.The money is too good to question. The neighborhood is immaculate. And her new client, an aging golden retriever named Gilly, couldn't be easier. It's Gilly's owners who make Jane uneasy.Jordan and Claire Whitmore are wealthy, secretive, and always watching. Cameras follow Jane through their home. The rules keep changing. And the more time she spends behind their gates, the more certain she becomes that something is terribly wrong. Then Jane learns about the dog walker who came before her.She disappeared.Jane should walk away. She knows that. Staying invisible has kept her alive this long. But Jane has never been very good at leaving a mystery alone. And by the time she discovers what the Whitmores really want from her, walking away may no longer be an option. The Dog Walker: The Prequel is a dark psychological thriller about manipulation, identity, and a woman fighting to hold on to herself when someone else has decided who she should become.©2025 TIER Books LLC (P)2026 TIER Books LLC
