About this listen

A killer strikes under Frederickport Pier. Before dawn the next morning, Marlow House's celebrity guest, mystery author Hillary Hemingway, is busy writing about the crime for her upcoming novel - including details that only the real killer would know. Coincidence? If so, it isn't the first time.

What was that ending.. What the 😱😳😱... I'm so shocked and also freaking excited for the next book... I mean... (screaming here) who was that spirit and how does he know Danielle... What is happening.

Romy Norlindger you're my top favorite narrator now for especially mystery books. The way you have enacted each and every voice... Just freaking love it.

We have this new mystery writer staying at the Marlow house and somehow the plot of her new thriller book coincides exactly with the events of the recent happenings of a new crime that's happened.

The best part, actually the part that makes it all the more interesting is that there are so many suspects and with each new person, my guesses were also changing as the motives are strong and the victim wasn't exactly a favorite person or even liked.

Once again there's a wild chase and clues hidden being found that make no sense yet have significance and it's upto the Chief roping in his unofficial partner, Danielle and with the help of whatever spirits they can get to help them, to find the culprit before it's too late.

This series is the most brilliantly written mystery ride because of how it grabs you with each freaking book with a new plot that's so convulated that you will never be able to guess who the real culprit might be behind it all and this is what keeps me on my toes and keeps me coming back for more, with how freaking engrossing this mysteries are.

New entries to the town thickens the plot as the needle of suspicion is tossed left and right and oh my ghosh, I was like it could be this one, one minute and no it can be that one, the next.

We also see some difference in Walt's behavior after what happened at the end of the previous book as he encourages Danielle to be with Chris as they can have a future together that Walt can never have with Danielle.

Honestly, I'm not exactly a fan of Team Chris as Walt will always be my favorite but ahhh.... Walt and Danielle just can't have a future together so it's just frustrating watching the most unique and beautiful relationship and knowing that nothing can happen there. But still I have faith in our author that something wild might happen there.

I loved that scene with the chief's young son and Walt as it was just so sweet and cute.
Chief is certainly making me love him with how he supports Danielle and understands in the first place what no one does.

Then there's that ending... I mean... WHAT THE FREAKING HECK.... I actually gasped with the twist we get at the very end and it certainly is a very genius move on our author's part to give us that crazy tease.
I couldn't believe the turn that happens and I'm literally jumping with excitement wanting to start the next one to see what happens next.

I'm seriously devouring this series and can't wait to dive into the next one. Loved loved this one.♥️♥️♥️♥️
