I loved it. The Great British Bake Off meets And Then There Were None. As a story it has the perfect ingredients - secrets, ambitions, jealousies, redemptions - blended to perfection, with a murder so strong and compelling it was the cherry on the cake. Like any good recipe each character was sharp and distinctive, bringing a flavour all of their own (J.M. Hall)
Two things I love are great food and a great mystery - and The Golden Spoon has both. This delicious combination of Clue and The Great British Bakeoff kept me turning the pages all night! (Janet Evanovich)

An good cozy with a weak mystery.

The first 80% - the buildup- the baking show set up was awesome but the climax couldn't hold the mystery. Actually, there was no mystery, I could guess everything within the first 20-25% parts.
