Definitely a must read for new parents!!
So glad I read this before baby arrived! I was definitely more prepared with knowing about these power tools and this books is pretty much covered by all sleep trainers/coaches for the newborn stage - they all either cite or mimic the 5S’s.
I feel the area it lacked was more the transition after newborn stage a particularly on sleep training etc. I didn’t realise that I was putting my baby to sleep too late because I followed these guidelines when it was the 3 month mark so hit 4 month regression very hard. I found ‘my precious little sleep, ‘healthy sleep habits, happy child’ and the sleep 101 course in Tinyhood so helpful with sleep training.
