Publisher's Summary
They called him The Priest. Maybe because of his billowing black robes and the steel crucifix that hung around his neck. Or perhaps it was because those who met him were compelled to pray. But Duncan Mackay was anything but a saint. He was a sinner-a paid mercenary. Until he met her and she made him want to change his ways.
Lady Heather Sutherland has never been compelled to follow rules. And this time, she's gone too far. Following in the footsteps of her brothers and cousins, she chooses to join the fight for Scottish freedom - and gets herself abducted by a handsome rogue warrior, whose touch is sweet sin.
Duncan's duty was clear-steal Heather away from Dunrobin Castle. What he didn't expect was to be charmed by her spirit and rocked by her fiery kiss. Now he doesn't want to deliver her to those who hired him - he wants to keep her all to himself.

One of the best series I've read
This was book 6 of one of the best series I've read. I hope there is a book 7. It had action, suspense, excitement and romance. I couldn't put it down. It tied in with the characters from the other books, and I loved them all. On top of all that the narrator did a great job, I especially like her voice for William Wallace.

Sorry, couldn't get past Chapter 6. Really annoying h, so contrary & immature. Didnt appear to have any redeeming qualities. So glad it was included in Escape package.

A GOOD READ
Most of the book is between the 2 main characters. You may think that would. be dull story, but surprisingly quite the opposite is true. I became more invested then usual and felt closer to the characters. They both were very likable. The plot moved along at a nice pace keeping me interested. The ending tied everything up and left me with the warm fuzzies. Well written and well narrated. PS for readers who this matters....the love scenes don't overshadow the story. They are well written with appropriate descriptions that didn't make ME as the reader want to blush, and go take a shower. just the right balance is love, romance and sex.

The Highlander's Sin, Imo, is the best in this series. And thankfully Corrie James has narrated all of them. She did a great job. Enjoy! 😄

Good addition to the series
Overall the book is good but the heroine can sometimes get annoying. The narrator sometimes mixes up the voices of the characters but her accents are good.

Loved it as much as the other 5
I can't get enough of this series. Love every minute of them. And Corrie James is the best narrator I've listened to. She's sooo good. I hope she will narrate more books i will listen to in the future. As for the narrator of book 9, I can't bear her voice. Its a pity the series had to end with that narrator. But at least it was a short story.
