MacGregor "You Know It Worries Your Mother"
Where does The MacGregor Brides rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is one of the top books in the series as N.R. really put her heart into the quick wit dialogue. You do not have to listen in order, but you do need to buy all of them or miss out on a great classic series. You must love the MacGregor's wonderful devotion to manipulating all his love ones.
What did you like best about this story?
The quick wit and sexy under tones of all the men in this story. I love the way Laura talks back "granpa" MacGregor.
Which character – as performed by Angela Dawe – was your favorite?
Royce deep sexy voice, Caine & Ian protectiveness, and of course the MacGregor
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This one gives you the warm deep smiles as you listen to it. "You can't out cage the MacGregor"

This is my very first Nora Roberts novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it!! I couldn't stop listening to these beautiful stories; and finished it in one day!! Being part Irish AND Scottish, I truly appreciated the brogue used by the narrator. Brilliantly written and narrated. Now I must read/listen to the other MacGregor stories!!

Surprisingly good
I wasn't expecting much from this. I thought Nora was trying to milk the MacGregor books when I started this one, but I loved it! Three short stories in one book and they were quite enjoyable. If you've come this far in the series, this is worth the listen.

quite a bit of fun
I read this when it was released decades ago and recalled I enjoyed it and was looking for some light, easy listening. I think it was worth the credit, amazingly, though decades old, I think the storylines stand up well - the women aren't weak, dependent, feint of heart creatures waiting for strong overbearing men to come rescue them - the men are strong, just not dominant, women have careers and good heads on their shoulders. nora r does dialogue well, and I found this very entertaining, as is the character of the grandfather. the narrator does a great job with all voices, you know who is talking, and they sound appropriate to their characters.
