Small towns harbor big secrets . . .

SETH BOYD has become Loon Lake's unlikely celebrity. Since self-publishing his memoir about searching for the Lake Superior monster, aka Soupy, he has gained national attention. He hopes the newfound focus will help locate Soupy once and for all. He's also happy to bring tourism to the town and hopes his longtime crush, ELISE MCKENNA, approves.

With the town's big celebration year underway, Elise's job as the historical society director and town PR person has never been more important. She is worried Seth's viral fame will make him a joke. When a TV crew arrives to film a documentary about Seth's search for Soupy, her worst fear is realized. But Seth is thrilled, and she decides to act as his manager to mitigate the embarrassment.

As they work together, however, someone seems determined to ruin the town's carefully crafted image. They must each decide between following their heads or their hearts, and reconcile themselves to the consequences.
