His observation rings true: urban legends, conspiracy theories, and bogus public-health scares circulate effortlessly. Meanwhile, people with important ideas (business people, teachers, politicians, journalists, and others) struggle to make their ideas "stick". In this indispensable guide, we discover that sticky messages of all kinds draw their power from the same six traits.

Very basic "I am a good person" advice.
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Some advice on how to look and act confident. Need more than the basic psychological advice. A better narrator would have been nice too.
Has The Power of Self-Confidence turned you off from other books in this genre?
Possibly. It certainly didn't help.
Did Brian Tracy do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
There weren't characters in this book.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment.
Any additional comments?
Not much meat to this book. It has a lot of physchology advice like having you say and think possitive things about yourself. Basically, set goals, think possitive, and good things will happen. The guy doing the narrative was not pleasant to listen to. A lot of strange lip smacking, or similar sounds. Was his mouth too dry or what? I didn't enjoy this book. Not what I was looking for.

For a book on self-confidence this lacks...
Would you ever listen to anything by Brian Tracy again?
Listen to? Perhaps. Buy? Not likely.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator came off as anything but confident. It's like trying to mountain climb while stepping on Jell-O. And considering the narrator is the author you would think he would at least pronounce all the words correctly. While he obviously isn't a biologist you would think He could still pronounce capillaries correctly.
Any additional comments?
Brian Tracy likes making broad sweeping statements, like "everybody has experienced..." Or "everyone knows" when that is not the case.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes, because Brian Tracy always shares valuable, life building rules and reminders.
What three words best describe Brian Tracy’s voice?
Poor quality...surprisingly. You can actually hear the author's lips smacking, etc. Sounds like some bottled water nearby would have gone a long way.

Brian always offers a good message
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
While I like the book, the audio was difficult to listen to because the recording volume wasn't as high as other books, so even turning up the volume on my phone to the highest volume wasn't quite enough. If you've read Brian Tracy's other books, this is really the same content from them, just rewritten and repackaged. That said, I guess it can never hurt to hear these messages multiple times.
Have you listened to any of Brian Tracy’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not nearly as good a performance as No Excuses.

What did you love best about The Power of Self-Confidence?
Its all about you, and broken down in good details. Everyone can benefit.
What other book might you compare The Power of Self-Confidence to and why?
none at this time
What does Brian Tracy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I am still buying the book because the information was so helpful and I want to share with associates.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
How you can change your life right away. This book is great for my sales team
