As danger increases in the County, Tom is sent far north by his master to be trained by Bill Arkwright, another Spook. As always, Joseph Delaney captures the imagination and holds the attention to the very last page. The Spook's Mistake is an amazing book which will not only keep you entertained, but waiting eagerly for the next volume too.
As a fan of the Spook's books, I can't recommend this enough.

The Spook's Mistake is as good as, if not better than the previous four books in the Wardstone Chronicles series. Those who may have been concerned that the quality of the series may begin to wane needn't have feared as it continues to go from strength to strength. 9 out of 10 stars.
