Legendary
Tao of Physics was my childhood love. I would accepted that via reading it in bunches, I may missed its comprehensive essence. Audible does a great job by including it .
There were not much work done on subject combination of science and spirituality (consciousness) .. however since Tao of Physics era it is an increase in this subject so far..
If anyone interested in it, I should suggest that Tau of Physics is a basic/ classic/pioneer book to begin with.
Thanks again to all contributors 🙏.

NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED!!!!
This is not the "Tao of Physics" it is simply a narrated summary of the book with "selected excerpts". If you want the reader's digest cliff notes this is it. But it is not the real book.

very intriguing
This was a very intriguing discussion integrating modern concepts in physics with ancient eastern philosophies. The author talked about some of the differences between eastern and western thought, particularly how eastern thinking is more open to the intuitive/spiritual nature of things while western thinking relies heavily on rational thinking. He showed how ancient eastern beliefs are being revealed in recent discoveries in quantum mechanics. I am a believer in the web of life, the interconnectedness of everything, and thoroughly enjoyed how the author fit everything together.
The book was very understandable for the lay person and the narration was well done too for such a difficult topic. I look forward to listening to the author?s other audible book, The Web of Life.

The Tao of Physics
What did you like best about The Tao of Physics? What did you like least?
A clear and concise introduction to quantum physics.
Any additional comments?
Unfortunately this recording is a transcription of the cassette tapes which came out with all the noise associated with it. It would have been better to have rerecorded this abridged version of the book or to have digitally washed it to improve the sound quality. Now to the abridgment. I read the book when it first came out and found it very informative, clearly written, and easy to understand. The abridgment cuts way to much out of the original narrative in an apparent effort to reach the widest audience possible. An unabridged version would be appreciated.

Redub of an Older Recording, Brilliant Content
This is a Redub from older tape, audible compression artifacts and "turn tape over" messages.

disappointing at best
As a mindfulness practitioner and physicist, I can say with confidence that the author has no clue about either. I could not bear to finish this audiobook. in addition the sound quality is terrible

Do not purchase if you want the complete book.
This is not the complete book. It stops at chapter 8 when there are 18 chapters. I got this for a book club and now I have to purchase another copy because this stops half way through.

Too Short!
This is an abridged version of the book. I HAVE the book and hoped to be able to listen to the entire tome! Three for the performance only because it sounds like it was taped 50 years ago.

Connecting the spirituel with science
What made the experience of listening to The Tao of Physics the most enjoyable?
The content. The quality of the sound is not up to date, but not an issue.
What did you like best about this story?
The open minded way that both spiritual and science is talked about.
What does Michael McConnohoi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I feel that he actually likes the content.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Be open - everything is connected, even spiritualism and science.

Overly Repetitive, Highly Abridged
I kept thinking the kindle was jumping back, replaying parts over. It only serves as a summary, repeated several times with slight variations. I recommend one buy the actual book.

Couldn’t listen to it. Awful narration and production
I’m going to have to return this. The narration is like something out of a dystopian film. Weird, monotonous and as if it’s “far away” somehow. Very odd

High faluting - not enough examples.
The audio production sounds overdriven. The reader performs it well and it's eloquently phrased but there's not enough meat.

great listen.
there is so much common between Morden physics and eastern religions/teachings. the author has should knowledge of both worlds and is able to draw a rationale picture connecting the dots and in the process helping people understand.

Great content robotic voice
The information is very powerful and transformational.
A truly must read / listen
The narrator just makes it a really hard listen. Lack of flow and makes it sound like a radio advert

A good listen
It was clearly spoken. Easy enough to understand for the non physicist, and not long. I feel educated by the experience.

Physics and ancient mythology tell the same story
Both deepened and simplified the way I view the universe. Narrator was difficult. Powerful.
