Publisher's Summary

Professional tennis star and everybody's darling, Maren Murphy is going home. Unfortunately, going home is the last thing she wants to do. She doesn't know what's worse, being named the executor of her grandfather's estate, or having to deal with her grandfather's business partner, Noah Callahan. That devil's spawn may have broken her young, tender heart, but this time it's advantage Murphy. If anyone's calling game, set, and match, it'll be Maren.

Re-match on.

Noah Callahan is a screw up. Well...he used to be a screw up. Bad-boy reputations, however, are not easily shed. He's been a successful business owner for over a decade. You would think the people in his hometown would've forgiven and forgotten already, but alas, no. Until his one shot at redemption walks back into his life. Maren Murphy is the only woman he ever loved - and the only one he purposely drove away.

She's vowed to hate him for all eternity. He's vowed to love her forever. Can a second chance be the tiebreaker?

Contains mature themes.

Word Vomit

This book was nothing but pure word vomit! The female character was too high-handed and too whiny and too judgmental! She was also extremely needy! This book was long for no reason despite the story having the possibility to be good. But was mostly ruined by too much word vomit!

Narration great + story has depth - 99%

I’ve been hanging out for p dangelico to make it onto audible, and I have to say these two narrators did a swell job. The southern twang matched Noah’s character + the female narrator did justice to the heroine. She sounded so intelligent and sarcastic - I love p dangelicos lead females for their awesome sarcasm. The story is a goodie with layers and depth and the two have so much history it’s interesting to hear it unfold in flashbacks. So cute and reminds me a little of sweet home Alabama film, the two lovers met each other - as soul mates - at such a young age. Supporting characters were interesting too - loved her sister. Wish she had her own book too! She is hilarious. Glad I used a credit on this, I could definitely listen to it again.

Cute but lacking...

This one was way too angsty for me. I loved the first book in the series and still want to read the book about BeBe. I suspect that one will be funny. Hoping at least.
