Very thorough

This was one of the most thorough things I heard about vaccines yet. This is such a hot topic but I have yet to hear a truly legitimate argument in favor of vaccines other than the "herd immunity" and "proven safe and effective" knee jerk reactions that the mainstream media and medical schools promote. When I asked my pediatrician about vaccinations she told me to make sure I get my information for credible sources. When I asked her for some sources to see unbiased studies that they are safe and effective she was obviously not used to anyone asking this question as she tripped up on her words and had to stop and think. Her response was "I only go to the CDC's website". If the FDA and nearly every other government "protection" agency can be infiltrated by council members who's only concern is to push corporate interests, why would the CDC be any different? Anyway, back to the audio book, The only chapter I didn't like was the one talking about god and Christianity as I failed to see how it helped their case for anyone who is not a Christian. I did appreciate how they kept saying this is not an "anti-vax" book. It is a "pro vaccination choice" book. In order to support vaccines I want proof they are safe and not just take the CDC and mainstream medias word for it. This is a very big deal and I don't know why so many people I know won't even question the almost mandatory vaccine schedule and what we are putting into our bodies. I would recommend this book to anyone questioning vaccine safety.

Enlightening, shocking and sad

This is a must read for every present/future parent. Healthy kids turning autistic over night. Healthy air Force pilots becoming deathly ill after receiving anthrax vaccines. A mother becoming paralyzed after receiving the flu vaccine. but most doctors are so indoctrinated and will not bother to ask questions, do the research or simply look at the public data. Research before you bash antivaxxers. If you have questions, this is the place to start with.

enlightening

This book has given me a more balanced view of vaccines, their usefulness and limitations, along with their risks and ways to reduce possible adverse affects.
The human rights regarding vaccines area was a new concept for me and I am grateful for the information and views this book has given me to consider.

Very comprehensive.

As a chiropractic physician, I'm trained to think outside the box. To look at the human body in a different way and treat accordingly. This book stands as a testimony to all those who have been given the crazy look by medical professionals who can't see the big picture. I'm not a zealot when it comes to anti vaccinations, but sure as hell stand my ground when asked why my child wasn't. A big thank you to the authors for empowering my stance on this sensitive subject

A must read for every parent or a recipient of vaccines

This book lays out in extensive and comprehensive detail what’s going on in the vaccine industry. It is neither for nor against vaccines but once you hear the data laid bare, you will have the information you need to form your own decisions regarding whether to vaccinate or not and when it’s worth the risk and when it isn’t.

A comprehensive review of vaccines from an ethical and scientific perspective.

I feel empowered to make decisions about vaccines because I learned so much about the science, informed consent, safety and conflict of interest with this book. I would recommend this books to my pregnant friends who are confused about vaccines.

For all parents to read!

If your thinking about vacancies, you need to educate yourself. This book gives you "the other sides" view. Not until one has read for and against, can one make a sound choice!

Helps clarify science from fiction

Covers a broad range of topics in good detail. I found it valuable in helping to clarify what is, and importantly, what isn't yet understood as the result of scientific enquiry.
