 गेल्या दशकाच्या सुरुवातीला भारताच्या राजकारणात एक नवीन अध्याय सुरु झाला. आजवर व्यक्ती म्हणून स्वतःचा प्रभाव देशावर टाकू शकणाऱ्या काही मोजक्या नावांपैकी एक नाव २०११ - १२ सालच्या सुमारास भारताच्या राजकीय पटलावर झळकू लागलं, ते नाव म्हणजे नरेंद्र मोदी. साधारण २०१२ पासून पुढचे पंतप्रधान म्हणून नरेंद्र मोदी यांचा चेहरा भाजपने राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर प्रोजेक्ट करायला सुरुवात केली. त्याआधी भाजपमधील कुशल संघटक आणि गुजरातचे मुख्यमंत्री म्हणून त्यांनी काम पाहिलं होतं. काँग्रेसच्या भ्रष्टाचाराविरोधात तयार झालेलं जनमत आणि 'गुजरात मॉडेल'चं भाजपने उभं केलेलं चित्र, यांचा परिणाम म्हणजे २०१४ च्या लोकसभा निवडणुकीत भाजपने पहिल्यांदाच भारतात स्पष्ट बहुमत मिळवलं. अर्थात नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली ही निवडणूक लढवली गेल्यामुळे भाजपने पंतप्रधान म्हणून नरेंद्र मोदी यांनाच निवडलं. १६ मे २०१४ या दिवशी मोदींनी पंतप्रधानपदाची शपथ घेतली. तेव्हापासून आजपर्यंत, म्हणजे गेली एकूण ८ वर्षे नरेंद्र मोदी भारताचे पंतप्रधान आहेत. त्यांचा राजकीय प्रवास कसा होता, वडनगरपासून दिल्लीपर्यंत ते कसे पोहोचले, आणि पंतप्रधान झाल्यानंतरची त्यांची कारकीर्द कशी होती, हे आपण आज जाणून घेणार आहोत.©2022 Storytel Original IN (P)2022 Storytel Original IN
