Nicely presented history of the Vikings citing the sources for the stories. The stories, the conquests of the Vikings and their explorations and all the important people who actually shaped the Viking world were all brought out in the audio book.

I heard the audio story and it was performed excellently by the group with singing(!), music and plenty of humour. 

I started the book knowing nothing about the Vikings, but the book covered all the aspects of their lives - their conquests, their explorations and the politics of it, connecting them with the other groups and civilizations around them. 

It was obvious that the people making the audio book had plenty of fun making it and I enjoyed listening to the comic way the  audio book was presented, despite it being a history lesson. 

Interesting learning.

Excellent writing and narration. Loved the humour-driven storytelling. Even if the main story were boring (which wasn’t the case), I’d still have loved this thanks to hilarious interludes!
