F-F-Fourth times the ch-charm!

The Rangers and Osay colonists have won the fight for control of their corner of Amir. But as the threat of invasion from nearby RUPAC special forces loom, Reach, Alexa, and Brody seek to make newfound neighbors into allies.

But friendship isn’t easy to come by, even on a planet as hostile to humans as Amir.

Even inside the Ranger-protected confines of the O-C, tensions boil over as Liana works to find a way to make Ranger, Osay, and RUPAC defectors coexist and save their hostility for what lays outside the colony’s growing walls.

Experience the fourth entry in the international hit series Wayward Galaxy from USA Today best-selling authors J.N. Chaney and Jason Anspach, performed by award-winning R.C. Bray. If you're a fan of '80s action flicks, futuristic high octane combat, and fighting commies of all shapes, you'll love this series.

Who is the good guy?

In general this series has been interesting and enjoyable. But this episode jumped around so much it’s hard to keep track of who’s a good guy and who’s a bad guy.

Where's the story

Have to admit I didn't finish the book. Got 1/4 way through and all that happened was a single battle and about 5 minutes of plot development. Thankful for Audible's generous return policy. Seems to have gone in the same direction as his Galaxy's Edge series. Heavy on the action, no plot. It's like a John Woo film. If you're expecting something like the first couple of books you'll be disappointed.

RC Bray great story not so much.

This is book 4 and the story doesn’t really progress any further and super weak ending.

Good book. Need recap

I enjoy these books, but it'd be perfect if they included a re-cap chapter since it can be a long wait in between books and if you listen to a lot of them you can easily forget or get it mixed up what is going on, who is who, and what happened last.

Circling the Bowl

1st book was really good 2nd book OK 3rd book bad This book terrible all the same stuff just stringing you a long even Brody wasn't very entertaining hes the only thing that saved the other books. They turned something that could have been really good into a toilet bowl Is chocolate swirly.

All filler

This book feels like it is just another title to sell. The entire book is just filler to push a couple smaller plot lines. I had to turn it off a few times because it got so boring. They need to bring some of the power of the Galaxy's Edge series.

Not like books 1-3. Hard to follow - very random

I have a hard time with Eastern block names, so can't remember them well. That made it impossible to follow this story. There was little story but impossible for me as I did not pick up on who was double crossing who and which was the bad guy vs good guy - or even who other than the rangers

The other is most of the story is told by listening in to radio communications (well not radio, but like radio.) Problem is they use very clipped and lots of military slang in coms traffic. Sometimes they told what the abbreviations meant, other times you just got lost.

I loved RC Bray, it's why I started this series. I liked the first 3 - can't say I enjoyed this at all. Just glad to be done with it.

Too rushed, RUINED

So many things going on in such rapid fire (almost forced marched dictation) that it’s impossible to keep up with details. This was just an attempt to cram too much into too short of a book. This was an unfortunate poisoning of the entire series. Very disappointed.

Another good one.

Well written and well performed. Things finally coming together on planet Amir as colonists finally realize there's no future without cooperation.

Brilliant listen

Loving this. The story line and action is superb. I’m a huge fan of Jason Anspach’s and Nick Cole’s Galaxies Edge and this series d d d didn’t disappoint. The man the myth the legend R.C. Bray narrating also. He’s the best in the business. Oh and…….

I don’t know about you but I’ve an aversion to getting F.U.B.A.R….

Confusing at the start

Story seemed to jump straight in to a point where you have absolutely no idea what is going on. Once in the story wasn't so bad but with so many sub plot's going on I struggled a bit to know what was actually going on.

Brilliant but very complex set of tendrils....

Brilliant but very complex eet of tendrils to follow like a metastasised suite of sub plotz trying to open or disclose the many parties involved on the plant likd s sudden population on what seems to be a 'not worth it' planet. Maybe this book with a secong part to expound me on the sub strains plots and sudden new characters and exponential shopping list of an apparent explosion of force equipment may have helped to understand how from book 1 struggling with some basic guns to book 4's sun, marines, satellites, Skynet and a ciy of botts all still within less than 18 months, I founfd just slightly overwhelming...… Bu I lovd it and congrats RC Bray like Peter Joice you are narrating legends in bring a book to life a rare gift.

Dragging On

I like the story of Wayward Galaxy and I like the characters. R.C. Bray does a fantastic job as always but the story just seems to be dragging on now and not really progressing which is disappointing. I find the constant Rangers are the bad asses of the galaxy talk and the constant “banter” and jargon in every single sentence spoken becoming very nauseating.
I will continue to get the other books in the series as I want to find out what happens but it’s starting to become a bit a a chore to listen to it.
Hopefully the next book moves the story along more otherwise it might be my last.
Very disappointed.
