For this to be my first Stephen King book… feels like a blessing in disguise. Now I get it. Why he’s called what he is. It’s not just horror. It’s how casually he walks you into darkness and makes it feel… normal.
Finished this with that strange mix of excitement and discomfort. Like I’ve opened a door I probably won’t be able to close now.
You Like It Darker wasn’t what I expected. It stayed quieter… but somehow hit deeper.
