About this listen
Over 100 years ago, around the 1870's, there was an accident in a mine near Scranton, Pennsylvania in the USA. Several men were buried and desperate efforts were made to rescue them. After 3 days the men were still trapped and those involved were discouraged, angry, anxious and frantic. It was at this moment that a young 11 year old German girl did something so simple, yet so powerful, which moved the hearts of all around her. Find out what she did in this program.
