    Welcome to Episode 5:  Setting Boundaries For Yourself

    Today we are talking about setting up boundaries with yourself and how that could heal you, give you positive energy, and set you up for success in your life.

    There were many years where I didn't set myself up for success and I didn't create boundaries.

    I didn't create boundaries with my husband.

    I didn't create boundaries with my children.

    I didn't create boundaries with anybody, including my practice, my job, and what it did was drained me. It drained me physically and emotionally.

    What I did was eventually set up boundaries.

    I know what I want to do and what I don't want to do.

    And it's not always perfect, but it's given me an opportunity to vibrate at a high energy, opposed to draining myself. And when I start. Feeling like I'm living with my life as half empty or my cup not being full. Then I know that my boundaries are being invaded and that's when I get to be called forth and start renegotiating and maybe dispersing some of the things on my plate.

    Today we're going to talk about what it's like to have a mental illness and being a mom.

    I'm no stranger to mental health and problems. I also work with plenty of moms that have anxiety and mental health issues in my practice as a life coach. And I think what happens is many women and moms feel ashamed about having a mental illness and they feel that it's a taboo to talk about it.

    And what I'm here to share is it's not a taboo. It's not something to be ashamed about. It's not something to feel guilt about. It's not something to not talk about. What I want to, bring to the air and bring and breathe fresh life too, is that you're not alone.

    Listen in as I bring this issue out into the open.  I want to assure you, that you're not alone. That we get to talk about this, that we get to breathe fresh life into this and that we get to build a community where people talk about this, because it's not uncommon.

    Welcome to the VERY FIRST episode of, A Mom's Life Beautifully Untangled Podcast.

    I am so excited that you found me.

    Let me introduce myself.  My name is Jennifer or Jenn and I am a Life Coach to struggling moms.

    I decided to just start a podcast because they had all these ideas running in my mind. I have a community of women called Moms Getting Their Identity Back, where I share tips and tricks of getting your identity back. And we share common struggles that moms have, and I wanted to reach a broader broadcast.

    And I wanted to share what was going on in my life, because I felt like if it was going on in mine, it was going on in others mom's life as well. And so I decided that I would plunge in and doing a podcast. And so here we go. I started one. And what I'll be doing in. A, Mom's Life Beautifully Entangled is sharing what we do, what we go through, what we beautifully unravel as we go through as a mom, the struggles, the hardships, the joys, the triumphant.

    Sometimes we get stuck in the muck, but sometimes we triumph and we, we succeed. But here what I want to share is tips and tricks that has helped me, and has helped other moms that I've coached.
