• The Geometry of Being: From Nomadic Roots to the Intuitive Age with Harvey Martin
    Jan 21 2026

In this expansive dialogue, I sit down with "Cowboy-Hippie-Philosopher" Harvey Martin. This conversation is a deep-map of a life lived at the intersection of high-performance athletics and mystical contemplation.

From Harvey’s nomadic childhood in Michigan—moving over 50 times—to his front-row seat at the data revolution in Major League Baseball, this episode explores the invisible patterns (the geometry) that curate our consciousness. Harvey discusses his recent professional sabbatical, the ego death of stepping away from a successful business, and why the future of humanity lies not in more data, but in Heart Coherence and the Intuitive Age.

    🕒 Chapter Timestamps

0:00 | Introduction and how we met

13:10 | How living in 50+ homes destroyed Harvey's attachment to place and turned him into a chameleon—someone capable of integrating into any culture with authenticity.

30:50 | Why your environment is the key to the pursuit of the slow down and why convenience is the enemy of the spirit.

41:50 | The Soul of the Sauna and how to change your awareness and consciousness.

60:20 | Why breathing is the unconscious environment we must make conscious.

1:06:32 | How shapes influence everything and how Harvey used sacred geometry during his sabbatical to map out the human ego and the breaking of illusions.

1:16:21 | Mapping the body through geometry. The heart serves as the center point between our three physical bodies (root, sacral, solar plexus) and our three mental bodies (throat, third eye, crown).

1:40:21 | Harvey reflects on his time in the MLB, witnessing how an over-reliance on data can cause elite performers to lose their subjective abstract self.

1:50:36 | Why the billion-dollar youth sports industry is incapable of teaching mastery because it relies on scripts rather than uniqueness and why a true teacher doesn't provide answers but holds space for the student to explore their own uniqueness.

1:58:21 | Harvey posits that wisdom can only be reached through abstract contemplation—something AI cannot replicate.

2:04:31 | Someone that has inspired Harvey by living their personal legend

2:11:55 | Harvey recounts a 10-year journey of trying to change the medical system for his father, only to realize the most courageous act is simply being oneself.

2:20:13 | Harvey's personal legend and how he knows he is on track

Harvey Martin is an entrepreneur and coach for high performers such as professional athletes, musicians, and entrepreneurs.

In 2012, he began teaching courses related to health and fitness at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he received his master’s degree. His services included consulting college athletic programs around the country, for instance, Ohio State and Oregon State University, in mental skills and organizational behavior. During this time, he spent eight seasons in the Milwaukee Brewers organization as a player and scout for both professional and amateur players.

In 2020, his services expanded to organizations like the Carolina Hurricanes, Seattle Mariners, and San Francisco Giants. He began facilitating sessions with USA Olympic teams, NFL groups such as the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers. His work stretched to major bands like Rufus Du Sol and in 2025, he was the Performance Coach on the Upside Down Tour with the artist Mike Seander "Mike.”.

During three Major League Baseball Seasons (2022-2024), Harvey was the Major League Human Performance Coach for the San Francisco Giants, where he oversaw the team's recovery systems and mental skills programming. Individually, he has...

    Price: $50 USD

    Total value: $5,524.53

    Total discount: 99%

On this special episode, I’m sharing a conversation I had as a guest on the Hydrate Podcast with Tracy Duhs. We explore the often-overlooked root causes of chronic pain and why traditional stretching and strengthening often fails to provide lasting relief.

For nearly two decades, I have studied how tension forms in the body long before pain ever appears. In this episode, I describe my Phase Shift work—a unique bodywork approach that looks at embryology, fascia, and the nervous system to unlock rigid, or frozen areas of the body by returning to their origin.

    In This Episode, We Discuss:

    0:00 | Introduction

20:02 | Phase Shift Work: Unlocking hardened areas (like a stuck sacrum or tight calves) by addressing the developmental origin of the tension.

25:03 | The 60% Statistic: Why an estimated 60% of people now struggle with tongue ties or airway issues compared to previous generations.

30:10 | Chewing for Development: How our modern liquid/soft diet contributes to narrow palates and why chewing is vital for enzymatic activation and detoxification.

56:29 | The Diaphragm/Kidney Connection: The diaphragm forms in the throat around week 5. If a tongue tie is present, it creates a "spiral of restriction" that binds the right side of the diaphragm and the right kidney in nearly 99% of cases.

58:12 | The Tongue Press: A breakdown of my daily routine, including vocalizations and "tongue meditation" to free the floor of the mouth and ground the nervous system.

1:02:22 | The "Floor of Four": My distilled system focusing on the four main areas—head, throat, sides, and feet—that can trigger a total body phase shift when unlocked.

    1:04:47 | Tongue Meditation

    Dec 10 2025

Welcome back to the Compromised to Alchemized podcast. In this episode I chat with Greg Mc Lean, a leading expert and educator whose mission is to demystify the complex connection between our breathing, sleep, jaw, nasal function, and overall health. Greg provides both virtual and in-person support, helping people around the world optimize their fundamental life function: breathing.

This conversation gets into the "nitty gritty" of what both Greg and I meticulously investigate in our respective practices. We reflect on the amazing training Greg hosted for my "Floor of the Mouth" course in Arizona this summer, where I was able to witness the transformative impact of his work firsthand.

Greg shares his personal journey—a fascinating pivot from electrical engineering and firefighting to becoming a dedicated movement and breathing trainer. He opens up about his childhood health struggles with asthma, his critical discovery of hypermobility, and his personal legend.

Greg has the unique ability to take diverse concepts from disciplines like yoga, sports' specific training, physical therapy, traditional weight lifting, and boxing, and combine them into a hybrid style of training. The core principle of his method is building a strong body from the core outward. He believes that once every joint is strong and flexible, clients achieve a balanced fitness program and a body ready to handle any challenge.

  • Birthing Instincts Unpacked: Dr. Stu Fischbein & Blyss Young on the Hard Truths of Birth
    Dec 3 2025

In this deeply moving and essential episode, I sit down with two incredible voices in the birth world: Dr. Stuart James Fischbein, MD, and Blyss Young, LM, CPM.

This conversation tackles the most difficult and unexpected birth scenarios, focusing on how birth professionals and families can navigate loss and trauma with integrity and compassion. Dr. Stu and Blyss courageously reflect on a challenging breech birth they assisted together, prompting a crucial discussion on managing high-stakes situations.

🚨 DISCLAIMER: This episode discusses loss, grief, and a very difficult birth experience. Listener discretion is advised.

We dive into the power of storytelling—how sharing our birth narratives influences care, challenges rigid hierarchies, and ultimately makes all the difference when conflict arises. We also explore the roles of midwives as guides, the expansion of regulatory agencies, and the importance of cognitive resonance in the birth space. Finally, I ask Dr. Stu and Blyss to reflect on their own "personal legends" and the missions that guide their profound work.

    Meet the Guests:
    • Dr. Stuart James Fischbein, MD (Dr. Stu): Stuart James Fischbein MD is a community-based obstetrician and an Associate of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, published author of the book “Fearless Pregnancy, Wisdom & Reassurance from a Doctor, A Midwife and A Mom” and peer-reviewed papers Homebirth with an Obstetrician, A Series of 135 Out of Hospital Births, Breech birth at home: outcomes of 60 breech and 109 cephalic planned home and birth center births and Twin home birth: Outcomes of 100 sets of twins in the care of a single practitioner. After completing his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, Dr. Stu, as he is known, spent 24 years assisting women with hospital birthing and, for the next 12+ years, was a homebirth obstetrician who worked directly with midwives assisting local Southern California families. Since retiring from attending home births in late 2022, Dr. Stu has turned his focus to traveling around the world as a lecturer and advocate for reteaching breech & twin birth skills, respect for the normalcy of birth and honoring informed consent. He hosts the weekly Birthing Instincts Podcast with co-host Blyss Young and together they offer hope, reassurance and safe, honest evidence supported choices for those women who understand pregnancy is a normal bodily function not to be feared.
    • Blyss Young, LM, CPM: Blyss Young, LM, CPM, is a home birth midwife, educator, and advocate for holistic maternity care. She co-founded The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center in Los Angeles, the first collaborative birth center of its kind, after nearly a decade of serving thousands of families and learning from renowned experts like Suzanne Arms, she transitioned to a more intimate midwifery practice supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Blyss is also the co-host of the Birthing Instincts Podcast with Dr. Stuart Fischbein, where they explore the art and science of birth outside the system. Currently, she is traveling the country interviewing traditional midwives for her newest project, At Her Feet, a podcast dedicated to preserving and sharing the ancestral wisdom of midwifery. Through her work with The Bridge Midwives, Blyss continues to mentor and inspire the next generation, helping to restore connection, intuition, and autonomy to the birthing experience.
