  • Achieving your Best Brain Possible with survivor and coach Debbie Hampton
    Jul 12 2019
Our brains are neuroplastic, meaning that their structure and function are literally, physically shaped by that which we do repeatedly in our lives – behaviors, emotions, and even thoughts. This works both for you and against you. We have much more power to recover from a brain injury, improve our brain’s functioning, recover from depression, and create our own happiness and reality with the gray matter between our ears than ever thought possible. Neuroplasticity is the super power we all are born with and possess until the day we die. On my blog and website, I share information about the tools I used to heal myself and my life physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually and related topics to inspire and encourage you to take control of and change your brain and life for the better.

  • What is the Neuromat and how can it fire up the neurons in our brains?
    Jun 14 2019
The neuromat ® is a colorful, fun and easy way to facilitate walking in a figure 8 pattern. It offers parents, teachers, and therapists a multi-sensory approach to teaching virtually any person at any age how to walk (forward/backward), crawl, hop, skip or jump in a simple figure 8 pattern. The motor movement of walking in a figure 8 pattern is based on years of research. This strategic method encourages the brain to integrate many functional skills at the same time, thus increasing its ability to multi-task. When the brain is able to process sensory information and turn those messages into appropriate motor actions, learning takes place. There are many different cognitive ability levels, but the ability to use the brain to the best of its’ ability, is a skill that must be developed, practiced and maintained.

    May 10 2019
AEXOS is proud to announce the launch of HALO™– a compression shirt designed to perform like equipment by reducing whiplash of the head and neck during impacts in contact sports. The advanced base layer provides postural support that works with the natural movements of an athlete, without affecting range of motion or mobility. HALO™ incorporates smart materials that are engineered to respond during impact. The core technology behind HALO allows the shirt’s collar to stiffen during a whiplash event, improving neck stability and reducing causal factors of whiplash injury and concussion.
