The Nuckelavee lives in the North Sea and Atlantic Ocean near the shores of Orkney Island. It can come upon the land where it wreaks havoc on the land, the animals and the people. Described as a skinless horse with a humanoid rider attached to its back and its only purpose being that of death and destruction. The mere mention of its name brings fear to the locals.
