Dr. Tara Peterson graduated from the University of Minnesota Dental School in 2018. She comes from a dental family–her dad is a dentist and her mom a hygienist. But practicing dentistry hasn’t stopped her from pursuing her other passion: Olympic-level curling. She hopes to inspire others through her drive and perseverance to reach the highest level in curling while working as a professional dentist. While they are two very different things, she believes dentistry and curling share many qualities: The grind, communication, teamwork, perseverance, practice, and constant learning, just to name a few!
