• Which Christian Beliefs Are Non-Negotiable?
    Oct 16 2026

Christians disagree about baptism, Communion, spiritual gifts, church leadership, the end times and plenty of other issues. But are all Christian disagreements equal? Bob turns to First Corinthians 15, Romans 14 and the historic Nicene Creed to look at the beliefs that stand at the center of Christianity—and the secondary issues where faithful Christians have reached different conclusions. Doctrine is important, but so is knowing the difference between a truth that defines the Christian faith and an issue believers can disagree about while still calling each other brother and sister.

  • Can You Retire From Serving God?
    Oct 15 2026

Retirement can bring freedom from schedules, commutes and years of responsibility. But when the career ends, does serving God end too? Using Psalm 92, Numbers 8, Luke 2 and Ephesians 2, Bob looks at what it means to continue bearing fruit as we get older. Retirement doesn’t have to become another full-time ministry job, and enjoying the freedom you’ve earned isn’t something to feel guilty about. Your role may change, but God can still use your experience, prayers, encouragement and wisdom.

  • Why Would God Create People Who Reject Him?
    Oct 14 2026

If God knew before creation that humanity would rebel, suffer, hurt one another and reject Him, why create us at all? Scripture never gives one verse that completely answers that question, but it does tell us a great deal about the God who created us. Bob looks at Acts 17, Genesis, Ezekiel, Second Peter and John 3 to explore God’s self-sufficiency, His love for humanity, His desire for people to turn to Him, and the staggering cost He was willing to bear to rescue the world He created.

  • When Does Helping Become Enabling?
    Oct 13 2026

Helping someone is usually a good thing—but there are times when helping can actually keep another person from taking responsibility for what belongs to them. So how do you know when to step in and when to step back? Bob looks at Galatians 6, Proverbs 19 and Second Thessalonians 3 to examine the difference between carrying someone’s burden and continually carrying something they should be handling themselves. Loving someone doesn’t always mean fixing every problem for them.

  • Why Does God Want Us to Worship Him?
    Oct 12 2026

If God is complete and needs nothing from us, why does He command us to worship Him? Is God looking for praise because He needs affirmation, or is something else going on? In this episode, Bob looks at Psalm 50, Matthew 4 and other passages to explore the difference between God needing worship and God being worthy of it. Worship isn’t about boosting God’s ego. It’s about recognizing who He is, what He has done, and giving Him the honor that belongs to Him.

    Oct 9 2026

If you believe in heaven and trust Jesus, why can death still feel frightening? Scripture never treats death as insignificant—it calls death an enemy and acknowledges the fear surrounding it. This episode looks at the unknown, our desire for more life here, and the confidence Christians can have in the One who has already defeated death.

  • When the Church Hurts You
    Oct 8 2026

Church hurt can range from disappointment to serious betrayal, manipulation, or harm by someone you trusted spiritually. What happened should not be minimized—but neither should another person’s failure be allowed to define Jesus for you. This episode looks at forgiveness, boundaries, trust, reconciliation, and why leaving an unhealthy church is not the same thing as leaving Christ.

Watching someone you love turn away from God can leave you wondering what to say, how much to say, and whether you could have done something differently.
