We are closing out Black History Month with Author Spotlight and our guest this month is Melanie B. Author Melanie B. was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As an avid reader at a young age, Melanie always looked forward to her escape into the world of fiction. Being able to submerge herself into the twisted tales of Urban Fiction has helped Melanie maneuver through the rough streets of New York, helped her push through college, and provided a much-needed calm over her life. Currently, Melanie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, and her love of books has grown exponentially. And that love quickly turned into the desire to pen her own stories. With having the time to dedicate to her craft, Melanie has penned and released her first novel, When A Hood King Steals Your Heart, and has no plans of letting her foot off the gas.
