    The infamous 'Black Dot'

In this episode Murray explains one of the highly transformative processes he uses and facilitates on his workshops. 'Dotting' or also known as psychodrama, is a structured form of therapy in which a person dramatizes a personal problem or conflict, usually in front of a group of other participants and is supported by a group of experienced and trained crew who usually take part in the process.

Through Murrays knowledge, skill set and experience in working with over 12,000 people for over 27 years this particular process has been known to be the defining experience for many that has completely changed their lives and been able to heal deep rooted long-term traumas.

Murray gives his perspective and explains how his greatest teaches of this work are the participants he works with and how he supports them to become whole and balanced again.

  • The difference between Masculinity and Femininity and how to step into these energies on centre
    Aug 5 2022

What exactly is Masculinity and Femininity and how do we embrace both of these energy forces when we’ve always perceived that masculinity means man and femininity means woman?

In this episode Murray describes what it’s really about. How to understand these two energies. How to understand where it comes from and how it occupies people especially men.

"You will can really learn about the power and totality of these two energies" Murray explains, and how to embrace both. It is not a behavior nor an archetype but rather, an energy force that lives within us. Murray gives examples of what this looks like, understanding how and when to step into your clean masculine energy and clean feminine energy and how not to disown or distort either.

Murray gives his perspective and explains how his greatest teaches of this work are the participants he works with and how he supports them to become whole and balanced.

  • Identity Real Man
    Aug 4 2022

Would you like to know some insights on HOW the identity of a man is created?

Murray Masarik has been working in this space for 28 years, presenting personal growth workshops and seminars that explore this very topic.

In this episode Murray explores ‘what is an identity as a man’? and how he believes the identity of a man is created. He continues to expand on concepts taught in his Residential Real Man 1 Workshop which is the longest standing men’s personal growth and healing workshop in Australia.

Murray gives example of how his identity as a man was created by learning from others and from his strong conditioning growing up which created a separation from self.
Role models, grandparents, uncles, his grandfather, other family members, teachers, sporting coaches etc. Learning a piece of their identity that they too “borrowed” from someone else, that borrowed from someone else became a part of Murrays identity. This is what he calls an “identity that is not me”.

He learnt others spiritual philosophies, behaviours that was not his. He learnt their style of how to be a man.

But “I was not my own author” Murray explains. He realized inside your own identity you have your own qualities and principals that are true to you.

This is also linked to the concept of ‘shadow behaviours’ – which is our dark side with distortions and disowning and not taking accountability.

We have an opportunity to really understand the power of what our identity is as a man if we do the work. If we don’t clean up our shadow - we will still play out distorted or disowned behaviours.

At Real Man 1 Workshop we take people through an amazing and authentic journey and unbecome the old identity that is not them and return to something so amazing by themselves, filled with their own essence.

This episode is all about helping to understand the important of returning to yourself, your most authentic self and how to be the author of your own life.

  • Masks
    Aug 3 2022

Would you like to know some insights on the concept of why people wear ‘MASKS’ in order to survive in this world?

Murray Masarik has been working in this space for 28 years, presenting personal growth workshops and seminars that explore this very topic.

In this episode Murray explains the origins of masks, how they develop from a young age and why we wear them.

We wear masks in order to hide, hide how we’re really feeling which can be really unsupportive and interferes with our authenticity as a person. Murray explains that masks are a way we do life for pure survival as a result of our experiences as a little person and the patterns we create from those experiences.

There are 4 predominant masks and examples of these masks that Murray wore growing up and how he accumulated these as a result of his childhood. You may already be aware of the masks you wear or even relate to a few of the masks Murray speaks about in this episode.

Murray explains that at the Real Workshops, people are supported through a transition of really unbecoming the masks they’re wearing that are not themselves and introducing their authenticity.

You can go through a process of really getting conscious about the specific masks you wear through a range of specific games and exercises and eventually you learn to take the mask off.

    Jul 22 2022

Would you like to know some insights on HOW to do relationships BETTER? To have a more fulfilling relationship that really WORKS in today's world?

Murray Masarik has been working in this space for 28 years, presenting personal growth workshops and seminars that explore this very topic.

In this episode Murray Masarik answers the question 'What is Polarity'? and discusses unravelling 'the erotic' in yourself and in your relationship.

Murray explores the Eros and Aphrodite energies that can create desire, longing, passion - and how this is connected to the concept of Kundalini. While this is so important in the bedroom, he also talks about how this energy, when clean, can be applied to ANYTHING you want in this world.

Too often our sensual and sexual energies have been shut down, numbed, distracted, shamed, made wrong, inhibited and wrapped up in guilt, conditioning and rules.

This episode is all about helping to understand the importance of awakening this area of life, becoming conscious, apply yourself in this area, occupying all of it and all of you, and using it to better your connection, communication and alignment with your partner.

Done well, these energies can lead to full expression of ceremony, allowing for a beautiful spiritual connection - worship and sacredness. Who doesn't want more passion, presence, essence and mind-blowing experiences!  Murray discusses the idea of sex being used as medicine and the power and importance it has in our lives; and about the importance of sex always being a sovereign choice, not entered into with conditions or expectations.

  • Femininity & Masculinity in Relationships
    Jul 22 2022

Would you like to know some insights on HOW to do relationships BETTER? To have a more fulfilling relationship that really WORKS in today's world?

Murray Masarik has been working in this space for 28 years, presenting personal growth workshops and seminars that explore this very topic.

In today's episode Murray Masarik discusses the topic of the masculine and feminine energies and how these can play out positively or can cause profound disruption in a relationship if they become distorted through emasculation of boys/men and de-feminisation of girls/women.

Key to this area is how social dynamics and upbringing can lead to imbalance, codependency, formation of a powerful mother complex, and more projection.

The process of understanding these dynamics, processing through and releasing your shadow behaviours can create more balance in a relationship and lead to one of the strongest and most powerfully attractive components of relationship - the energetics of polarity between partners.

  • How We Meet & Challenges in Relationships
    Jul 22 2022

Would you like to know some insights on HOW to do relationships BETTER? To have a more fulfilling relationship that really WORKS in today's world?

Murray Masarik has been working in this space for 28 years, presenting personal growth workshops and seminars that explore this very topic.

In this episode Murray Masarik continues to expand on concepts taught in his Real Relationships seminar. He discusses the common situations in relationships developing such as 'history', annoyance, being inauthentic, pretending to make partner happy or to 'get' a desired outcome, misalignment, wearing masks, projection, blaming and the power of words said in anger to permanently scar. He also discusses the key issue of unspoken expectations often due either to differences between the sexes or because of differences in upbringing leading to disharmony.

Murray explains how this is linked to the concept of 'shadow behaviour' with distortions and disowning and not taking accountability.

The episode discusses the great potential for any relationship, assuming there is agreement to grow and work on it, being willing to compromise, to be able to own and be accountable for your behaviours, to understand negotiation, compassion, always seeking to understand and in so doing, allow for both difference between partners but also the most incredible "co-creation."

  • Relationship Bonding
    Jul 22 2022

Would you like to know some insights on HOW to do relationships BETTER? To have a more fulfilling relationship that really WORKS in today's world?

Murray Masarik has been working in this space for 28 years, presenting personal growth workshops and seminars that explore this very topic. Relationships need to grow and evolve.

So often relationships are messy - suffering, agony, confusion, frustration, anger, routine, disconnection, gridlock, disharmony, codependency, even loneliness (inside the relationship) and more...

On this episode, Murray Masarik shares fascinating insights into how we bond to each other in primary relationships - different styles of dysfunctional, unhealthy (often unconscious) patterns that influence how we meet and 'get together':

    • trauma-bond attachments (wounding),
    • the "imago" match imprinting of the mother/father bond from childhood,
    • personality trait opposites attracting to achieve equilibrium and balance together,
    • conditioning (unconscious programming) resulting from upbringing (social, parental and more),
    • separation syndrome - incompletions/baggage from previous relationships that spill over and corrupt the next relationship, and the next, and the next...
