• Jesus and Nicodemus: Why Pride Keeps Us From Being Born Again
    Oct 16 2026

Jesus and Nicodemus meet under cover of night in John 3, yet that is only the beginning of Nicodemus's story. In this sermon, Henk Viljoen opens with Nicodemus and follows him through John 3, John 7 and John 19, from a cautious ruler who feared what others would think to a man who stood publicly with Jesus at His burial.

Why did Jesus tell a respected teacher, "You must be born again"? Henk unpacks the new birth of water and the Spirit, and shows how self-sufficiency can blind even religious leaders to basic spiritual truth. He then sets Nicodemus beside Mary Magdalene, healed by Jesus, whose place at His feet and costly ointment reveal a surrender that was not held back by reputation.

The message presses a personal question: what if our pride, our standing, or our fear of what others think is keeping us from fully surrendering to Christ? Drawing on the parable of the two sons in Matthew 21, the contrast between Mary anointing Jesus before His death and Nicodemus after it, and Jesus' words about the serpent lifted up in the wilderness, this study of Nicodemus being born again points every listener to the cross and urges them not to put off the decision.

Go Teach All Nations brings you Christ's teachings through Australian and international speakers.

  • Unshakable Faith: Step Out of Your Comfort Zone for Jesus
    Oct 9 2026

Unshakable faith isn't reserved for the mountaintop. It's the kind of faith that steps out of the comfort zone to share Jesus. In this sermon, Jacob Atcheson explores how to build unshakable faith in God through Psalm 62:6, David's confidence against Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, and the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37.

Jacob opens with a real-life story: a day spent teaching someone to surf that turned into a shark attack, and the moment he paddled toward the danger to rescue a boy. He ties it to Ephesians 6, where believers are called into God's army, and to Romans 10, which gives practical ways to share your faith through prayer, Bible studies and personal testimonies.

If you've felt dry, lukewarm or unsure how to get involved in the Great Commission, this message is an invitation to pray for unshakable faith, step out, and trust that God is your rock, your salvation and your defence.

  • Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart: Breaking Free From Pride
    Oct 2 2026

To truly trust in the Lord with all your heart, we first have to admit how easily we fool ourselves. Speaker Shea Standish opens with the true story of a man so convinced that lemon juice would make his face invisible to bank security cameras that he was genuinely shocked when police showed him the footage — a real-life picture of the Dunning-Kruger effect, where the less we actually know, the more certain we tend to feel.

From there the message turns to 1 Kings 12 and the story of Rehoboam, son of Solomon, who dismissed the wisdom of his father's experienced advisors in favour of advice from his own inexperienced friends — advice that fed his pride and cost him his kingdom's peace. It's a warning, Standish says, for young people stepping into leadership today: the culture around us praises self-reliance and independence, but our own confidence isn't always trustworthy.

The sermon then contrasts King Saul and King David. Saul began his reign in humility but let years of victories convince him his success came from his own strength rather than God's, leading him to disobey a direct command and pay for it with his throne. David, by contrast, refused to lean on his own understanding even when he had the perfect chance to kill Saul and take the crown himself — choosing instead to trust God's timing.

Standish closes by asking listeners to consider what the Bible really says about pride: that human wisdom is limited, and that real understanding comes not from trusting ourselves but from looking outward — to godly counsel, to Scripture, and ultimately to God. The message returns again and again to Proverbs 3:5-6: trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.

  • How to Put On the Armor of God: Winning the War in Your Mind
    Sep 25 2026

How do you actually put on the armor of God when the real battle is happening in your mind? In this message, Australian speaker Rebekah Roux walks through Ephesians 6:10–18 piece by piece — the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit — showing how each one is a weapon for the spiritual warfare Christians face every day.

Rebekah opens with her own story of overcoming fear to share her faith with a group of workmen as a teenager, then unpacks how this war isn't fought with flesh and blood but is won or lost in our thoughts. Drawing from Ephesians, Romans, James, and Philippians, she traces how truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God work together to guard the mind and renew it against the enemy's lies.

Using the examples of Adam and Eve, Jesus in the wilderness, and her own struggle with guilt after making mistakes, Rebekah shows what it looks like to lay the armor aside — and what it looks like to pick it back up through confession and forgiveness. The message closes with a call to stand firm, put on the full armor of God, and keep fighting until the battle is won.

  • How to Focus on God More Than Anything Else
    Sep 18 2026

How do you actually focus on God when a hundred other things are constantly competing for your attention and admiration? Speaker Daniel Vokurka, a high school teacher, tackles that question with an unexpected illustration: superheroes. He walks through why we're drawn to comic-book heroes — their power, their courage, their sacrifice — and then asks the bigger question: does Jesus outmatch every one of them?

Working through Scripture, Daniel shows that Jesus holds every trait we admire in a superhero, and far more. He's the Creator who spoke galaxies into being, the One with eyes like flame and the power to calm storms, command lightning, walk on water, and ascend into the clouds. But it's Jesus' character — His compassion, His patience, His total honesty — that sets Him apart from the flawed heroes we invent. Drawing on 2 Corinthians 3:18, Daniel explains that we're transformed by what we behold, so the more we focus on Christ, the closer to God we grow.

The message then turns to the weight of what that focus cost God. From John 3:16 to His anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane and the cry of abandonment on the cross, Daniel unpacks just how much the Godhead sacrificed to save us — a decision made without any guarantee of the resurrection on the other side. The episode closes with a direct challenge: to make Jesus, not the heroes of entertainment, first in our affections, and an invitation to accept or recommit your life to Him today.

  • Is Harry Potter Demonic? What the Bible Says About Entertainment
    Sep 11 2026

Is Harry Potter demonic, or is that too strong a word for a beloved book series? Speaker Nikita Jensen tackles that exact question in this study on entertainment, working through Scripture to test what Hollywood and the music industry are really putting in front of us.

Starting from Ecclesiastes 1:2 and 12:13-14, Nikita builds a biblical case for discernment before turning to specific examples: the magic and demon possession in Marvel's Doctor Strange, the twisted messianic imagery built around Iron Man and Thanos, the Hazbin Hotel series, and the TV show Lucifer. From there the study moves into witchcraft and the world of Harry Potter, grounding the discussion in Deuteronomy 18:9-12 and 1 Samuel 15:23 — "rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft." The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and Narnia get the same careful treatment, alongside occult references in music from BTS, Adele, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé.

Nikita's aim isn't condemnation but discernment — testing "whatsoever things are true... whatsoever things are pure" (Philippians 4:8) against what fills our screens and playlists. The message closes with a direct, practical challenge: if there's something standing between you and a closer walk with God, are you willing to let it go?

  • Revelation 14 Explained: The Three Angels' Messages
    Sep 4 2026

Revelation 14 explained simply: this message walks verse by verse through the three angels of Revelation 14 and shows what each one is actually calling us to do. Pastor Gary Webster opens with the first angel's call to fear God, glorify Him, and worship Him as Creator, then shows the only way to truly do that is through the everlasting gospel — Christ and Him crucified, drawn from 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans.

From there the message turns to the second angel's declaration that Babylon is fallen, and what that means for the false teachings — from the immortal soul to Sunday sacredness to eternal torment — that Webster says have shaped much of the world's confusion about God's character.

The heart of the study is the third angel's message. Rather than reading it only as a warning about the mark of the beast, Webster shows from Ellen White's writings that this message is, at its core, about justification by faith — Christ's righteousness credited to sinners and worked out in obedience. He closes with the story of a little girl lost in a crowd, pointing to the simple truth that when people are shown Jesus, they can find their way home.

  • When God Is Silent: How to Pray and Not Give Up
    Aug 28 2026

When God is silent and your prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling, it's easy to wonder if He's given up on you. In this message, speaker Leah Hodge asks the question Jesus asked in Luke 18: when the Son of Man returns, will He find faith on the earth? Working through the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge, Leah shows why Jesus links real faith to unrelenting prayer — and why giving up on prayer is giving up on hope itself.

Leah turns to the book of Job and to Daniel chapter 10 to explain why God's answers sometimes seem delayed. Just as Daniel's prayer was heard from the very first day yet the answer was held back for three weeks by unseen spiritual opposition, our own unanswered prayers don't mean God has stopped listening — they mean there's more happening behind the scenes than we can see. Job's story shows the same pattern: even when Job had no idea what was unfolding in the heavenly courts, God had not abandoned him.

The message also unpacks Revelation 14 and the description of the 144,000 who are able to stand when Jesus returns — a people marked by patience, obedience, and unwavering faith. Leah connects that endurance, the Greek word hupomone, back to the practical question every listener faces: how to pray without losing heart, no matter how long the trial lasts or how loud the silence feels.

Whatever season of waiting you're in, this study offers real biblical encouragement to keep trusting, keep asking, and keep believing that God is active even when He seems quiet.
