A lot of sincere Christians say, “I’m just trying to follow the Lord.”

But what does that actually mean?

If following God stays vague, it can be hard to know whether you’re actually living in alignment with Him—or simply participating in good Christian activities.

God has designed you uniquely. He has placed you in specific roles, relationships, and seasons. And He has purpose for how you are meant to live, lead, serve, and contribute.

In this teaching, I talk about how to move from vague faith to a more concrete, purposeful life by getting clearer about:

• How God has uniquely designed you
• Where He has placed you right now
• What your specific purpose and function may be
• How your past experiences may be preparing you for what’s next
• How prayer, discernment, and action begin to work together
• Why clarity helps you say yes more boldly—and no more clearly

We’ll also look at the life of David and how God used seemingly ordinary experiences—shepherding, worship, courage, skill, and hardship—to prepare him for a much larger assignment.

Following God is not meant to remain a vague spiritual idea. It should become increasingly specific, personal, and actionable.
