Travis, Vince, and Darren preview LAFC’s two-match week: Austin FC at BMO Stadium on Wednesday, and NYCFC at Citi Field on Saturday. We cover LAFC’s alarming run of form (one win in 11 league matches since Aug. 1, sliding from first to 6th), whether the early Xavi tenure is concerning after a 1–1 draw vs. Vancouver despite a red-card advantage, and what must happen against Austin and NYCFC. But who cares about any of that, Wednesday is HELLO KITTY NIGHT!!!!!!

Travis and Vince react to LAFC’s 1-1 draw at BMO Stadium against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the first match of the Xavi era. The team played most of the game up a man yet conceded first and failed to create enough big chances. They discuss the new 4-4-2 setup aimed at keeping Son and Bouanga closer, early bright spells, and why a system change can’t happen quickly with limited training and players returning from international duty. They highlight strong performances from Vazquez and Leo Walta, question decisions like starting Segura, and break down the on-field dispute between Choinière and Segura as a sign of adjustment to a more aggressive pressing approach.
