Welcome to High Adventure Treks for Dads and Daughters and Dads and Sons! If you are going on this campout, at least one of you is new to HATS! This podcast is designed to give you a glimpse of what the weekend will be like and prepare you for the campout. We not only talk about HATS, but we also give you some conversation starters for the drive out to camp.

Today we talk to Chris Bowles, former operations director of HATS, and the founder of the HATS rock climbing team. Along with being a long time HATS dad to Kristen and Kerry, and only the 3rd HATS full time employee, Chris stepped in to shore up the rock climbing program at a critical time.

We welcome John Baldwin, the current managing director of HATS, and legendary (or notorious?) creator of the modern day 5th Grade Challenge. This episode is specifically meant for teams heading out for the weekend.
