  • Conversation Killers
    Oct 8 2026

We want healthy relationships, but are our communication habits helping—or shutting down the conversation?

When we learn to drive, we learn what our vehicle needs to run properly. Relationships also require us to learn about the person in front of us. What helps one person open up may cause another to shut down.

In Season 4, Episode 59 of Hope Beyond the Hurt, Trisha Warren explores 10 ways to kill a conversation:

    1. Interrupting.

    2. Saying the same thing over and over.

    3. No eye contact or lack of attention.

    4. Refusing to apologize.

    5. Not owning what you did wrong.

    6. Yelling.

    7. Name-calling.

    8. Using a harsh tone of voice.

    9. Standing over someone to intimidate them.

    10. Being overbearing: “My way or else.”

Drawing from James 1:19 and Proverbs 15:1, this episode offers practical ways to listen with consideration, take responsibility, and communicate with respect.

You can begin making changes in your next conversation—one response at a time.

  • Heart Conditions Gratitude
    Sep 10 2026

We are entering a new season—and maybe it’s time for a new season in your heart, too.

In this episode of Heart Conditions, Trisha Warren talks about the power of gratitude and how developing a grateful heart can change the way you walk through difficult seasons.

Biblical gratitude is more than feeling thankful when everything is going well. It is a decision to recognize and appreciate the goodness of God regardless of what your present circumstances look like.

Gratitude remembers what God has done.
Gratitude recognizes what God is doing.
Gratitude trusts what God will do.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 tells us, “In everything give thanks.” It doesn’t say to be thankful for everything—it tells us to give thanks in everything.

Gratitude doesn’t deny that something is difficult. It refuses to allow the difficulty to become greater in your heart than the goodness of God.

If you’ve been waiting, believing, standing, or wondering when things are finally going to change, don’t grow weary. Keep going. Keep believing. Keep thanking God.

Seasons change—and your due season is coming.

    Scriptures: Colossians 3:15–17, 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, Psalm 100:4, Psalm 103:2, and Galatians 6:9.

  • Heart Conditions Struggling
    Sep 3 2026

Struggling has a way of making you question everything. During difficult seasons, thoughts begin to arise: “Did God really say that?” Your mind wants to follow every emotional impulse, entertain every negative thought, and doubt what God has promised—but your heart knows better.

In Season 4, Episode 56 of Hope Beyond the Hurt, Trisha Warren shares what to do when your mind is at war with your faith. You will learn the importance of knowing what God said, refusing to doubt, and trusting Him enough to take Him at His Word.

Your heart is your command center—your faith headquarters. There will be times when your head tells you it won’t work, but your heart knows what to believe. Don’t let what is happening in your mind override what you believe in your heart.

“For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” —Romans 10:10

Your struggle does not mean God’s Word has stopped working. Quiet your mind, trust His Word, and keep believing.

  • Heart Condition Troubled
    Aug 27 2026

Did you know, you can be in trouble without letting trouble get in you?

Trouble can show up as stress, pressure, hardship, adversity, uncertainty, or circumstances that make you feel like there’s no way out. But just because there is trouble around you doesn’t mean you have to allow your heart to become troubled.

In this episode of Hope Beyond the Hurt, Trisha Warren shares what God’s Word says about walking through difficult seasons while keeping your heart established in Him.

Psalm 91:15 gives us a powerful promise: God will be with us in trouble, He will deliver us, and He will honor us. Then in John 14:1, Jesus tells us, “Let not your heart be troubled.”

The circumstances may be real. The pressure may be real. But you don't have to allow what is happening around you to determine what is happening inside you.

We’ll talk about trusting God when you can't see a way out, guarding your heart against fear and discouragement, receiving the peace Jesus has given you, and standing on God's promises in the middle of trouble.

You may be in trouble today, but trouble doesn't have to get in you.

  • Heart Conditions Unforgiveness
    Aug 20 2026

Forgiveness isn’t optional. Ultimately, forgiveness is personal between you and God.

When someone has deeply hurt you, forgiveness can feel impossible. But forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay, nor does it mean you have to allow them continued access to hurt you. Forgiveness means you release them and refuse to repay them for what they’ve done to you.

In Mark 11:25–26, Jesus tells us that when we stand praying and realize we are carrying something in our hearts against another person, we are to release them and forgive.

In this episode of Hope Beyond the Hurt, Trisha Warren discusses the heart condition of unforgiveness and three important truths about forgiveness:

    1. God equips you to forgive.Forgiveness may feel impossible in your own strength, but you’re not limited to your own strength. Romans 5:1–5 shows us that even through pressure and difficulty, God is developing endurance and character in us, while His love is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who is your help.2. Forgiveness isn’t optional. This is personal between you and God. Mark 11:25-26 “And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive him so that your Father in heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults. But if you will not release forgiveness, don’t expect your Father in heaven to release you from your misdeeds.”3. You don’t repay them for what they’ve done to you.You don’t have to make sure someone “gets what they deserve.” Galatians 6:8 teaches us the principle that we reap what we sow. You can release the situation and trust God with what happens next. You may not be able to change what someone did to you, but you can decide what you will carry forward with you.

Forgiveness is a decision. Healing is a process.

Release them. Release the offense. And allow God to continue healing your heart.

  • Heart Conditions Broken Hearted
    Aug 13 2026

Have you ever felt so broken that you wondered if you could ever truly be whole again?

When a beautiful vase is shattered into pieces, it can be hard to imagine it ever being beautiful again. Sometimes life can feel that way too. Heartbreak, betrayal, rejection, loss, disappointment, and painful experiences can leave us feeling like pieces of who we once were.

But God doesn’t look at your brokenness and see something that should be thrown away. He sees something He wants to restore.

Isaiah 61:1 tells us that Jesus was sent to bind up the wounds of the brokenhearted, and Psalm 147:3 says that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

God is in the restoration business. Just like a broken vase can be carefully put back together and made beautiful again, God can take the broken places of your heart and bring healing, restoration, and wholeness.

In this message, Trisha Warren talks about what it means to be brokenhearted, how our wounds can affect our lives when they aren't healed, and why you don't have to accept brokenness as your permanent condition.

You may have been broken, but you don't have to stay broken. God wants to restore you.
