  • Ron DiCarlantonio | Cognitive Workload, AI Assistants and the Provable ROI of Better Fleet Driver Experience
    Mar 25 2026

    08. Ron DiCarlantonio (iNago) | Cognitive Workload, AI Assistants and the Provable ROI of Better Fleet Driver Experience

Ron DiCarlantonio is the President and Founder of iNago. He also played an important role in the development of Tweddle Group's AVA platform. Ron knows AI assistants, from the expectations bring to their AI interactions to the back-end arbitration that keeps these systems accurate and honest. Having worked with in-vehicle AI for the last few years, Ron's got valuable insights into cognitive workload, and how voice assistants might help minimize distraction while making drivers more informed.

Ron sat down with Inside Information Host Laura McGowan to discuss his latest project, a push toward in-cabin assistants for fleet truck operators. Could in-cabin assistants improve logistics, maintenance and overall management for fleet owners? Ron makes a compelling argument.

He also introduces MUTUALISM, an industry consortium establishing an open, standardized platform for next-gen in-vehicle experience. MUTUALISM aims to create an extensible framework in which OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and service providers can collaborate on "intelligent AI-based cockpit solutions."

    07. AI Forward, the Right Way | Garrett Ekstrom (CRIMSON Agency) and Gary Ragland

What's the difference between true AI transformation and empty buzzword recklessness? AI has incredible potential, but that potential depends on quality processes and human oversight. It unlocks real efficiency but also raises important questions about accuracy and security.

What’s the right way for a company to go AI-forward?

Inside Information Host Laura McGowan and Tweddle Group Manager of AI Content Strategy Gary Ragland visited CRIMSON Agency to talk with Garrett Ekstrom about the best practices emerging (and evolving) around AI.

How should approaches to AI differ between industries, between companies or even between members of the same team? What red flags do we see when companies make groundless claims or use AI irresponsibly? And how does the technology impact DIY coding, information security and content development? Find out on this week's Inside Information.

    06. Roberto Coccoluto | Building a Better Electronic Parts Catalog

How much money gets left on the table when an Electronic Parts Catalog is outdated or hard to use?

Why is it still so difficult for technicians to get the right replacement parts?

And why does updating an EPC still require so many hours of manual data entry?

Laura McGowan, host of the Inside Information Podcast, talks with Roberto Coccoluto of Tweddle Group Italia. Roberto's team spearheaded the development of Tweddle Group's EPC, so he's uniquely qualified to examine the challenges EPCs present, the best ways to address those challenges, and how smart companies turn their EPCs into a whole new competitive advantage.
