Restoring the Altars of Fire | Pastor Chris Appleton

God sends the fire, but we are responsible for keeping the altar burning. In this powerful message, Pastor Chris Appleton calls the church back to prayer, worship, surrender, purpose, and faithful service.

Have we been living on yesterday’s fire? Has the altar in our homes grown cold? Have disappointment, distraction, or church hurt caused our passion to fade?

Drawing from Leviticus 6, Jeremiah 20, and Hebrews 12, this message reveals how fresh fire is restored through fresh sacrifice. God is calling us beyond performance, borrowed revival, and strange fire. It is time to rebuild the altar, return to His presence, and let the fire of God burn in our lives, homes, and church again.

“The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.” — Leviticus 6:13

The Sound of Revival | Living Word Casa Grande Grand Opening

“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof…” — John 3:8

Revival has a sound.

In 2 Samuel 5:17–25, David has entered a new season, received a new anointing, and stepped into new territory—but with new territory comes new resistance. God tells David not to move until he hears “the sound of a going” in the tops of the trees, because that sound would be the signal that the Lord had already gone before him.

In this special Grand Opening message from Living Word Casa Grande, Pastor Chris Appleton shares how planted people carry the sound of revival. When God begins to move, there is a sound that signals it is time to advance. We don't move ahead of God—we listen for His voice, follow His presence, and move when He moves.

This Grand Opening represents more than a new location. It is a declaration that we believe God is moving in Casa Grande and throughout this region. We are believing for souls to be saved, families restored, disciples multiplied, churches strengthened, and the Kingdom of God advanced.

The trees are moving. The sound is here. The Lord has gone before us. This is the Sound of Revival.

In Part Two of The Promise at the Altar, Pastor Chris Appleton takes us to Mount Carmel for the showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. Discover how false altars shape generations, why some altars must be repaired while others must be destroyed, and how the blood of Jesus breaks every agreement with darkness. It is time to repair what belongs to God, destroy what belongs to the enemy, and return to wholehearted worship.

In Week One of The Altar, Pastor Chris Appleton explores the biblical origin and purpose of the altar. From Noah’s first recorded altar to the uncut stones, ordered wood and acceptable sacrifice, every altar was pointing toward Jesus Christ, the spotless Lamb of God.

Discover why the priests continually stood to minister, why Jesus sat down after completing the final sacrifice and what it means for us to become living sacrifices filled with God’s presence. Jesus became the sacrifice so that we could become the dwelling place of God.

Main Scriptures: Hebrews 13:10, Genesis 8:20, Exodus 20:24–25, Leviticus 1:7–8, Hebrews 10:11–12 and Romans 12:1.

What are you holding onto: the promises of God or the offenses of your past?

God has promises for your future. The question is whether you are willing to release what happened behind you so you have the freedom to receive what He has placed in front of you.

In this episode:

• Recognize the trap of offense
• Learn how offense affects your heart and relationships
• Choose forgiveness over bitterness

• Take hold of the promises God has for your life

You have carried the offense long enough.

Let it go. Take hold of the promise. Walk through the door.
