About this listen

(Note: Each semester, we host interns from University of Illinois who complete projects focused on supporting family caregivers. The Spring 2025 semester interns added another project: Supporting early career professionals so they can have a successful start to their first job. Through this project, the interns also will offer support for those young adults who also care for a family member.)

We aim to provide support, resources, and real-life strategies for early-career professionals who are also full-time caregivers. We want to create a community where listeners feel heard, validated, and motivated to continue pursuing their careers without guilt.

This podcast will feature rotating guests, including professionals, mental health specialists, and experienced caregivers, to offer insight and encouragement. We'll discuss everything from time-management techniques and mental health strategies to stories from real people juggling both worlds.

Tune in every Friday at 5PM Central!
