Langston University is roaring back to life as summer winds down and students return to campus! During the last week of July, LU held its annual Lion Camp to help our freshmen transition into life at LU. This year's Student Ambassador Chair, Brooke Blakely, will tell us all about the fun ways our newest Lions are being welcomed into the Pride.

For many upperclassmen, this summer was an opportunity to delve deeper into their research interests. Hear from senior plant systems and research sutainability major Tremar Ivey as he shares his experience spending the summer on campus conducting research.

The Langston University Men's Basketball Team earned the #4 seed in the Liston Quadrant for this year's NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship after runner-up finished in both the Sooner Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament. The Lions will host the first and second rounds of the tournament on March 13-14. Their first game is at 5 p.m. on March 13 against Bethel (Tenn.).
