A road trip that started with a sweep ends with a sweep, as the Minnesota Twins lose all three games to the Pittsburgh Pirates. David and Dan discuss the road back to .500, which looks like a difficult one considering all the pitching injuries and the strain on the depth of the starting rotation. David wants to know how the Twins are addressing all of the Pirates' stolen bases, while Dan wants to see more prospects make their way to the Majors. There were positive performances for sure (by Brooks Lee and Kody Clemens), but the struggles were many in this series. They both try to stay a little bit optimistic. The Minnesota Twins capped their most exciting series of the season with one last victory on Sunday to give them a sweep over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. David is still giddy having nearly fist pumped through his ceiling at the end of Game 3. Dan is a bit more measured -- after all, it's only the end of May. But the Twins are indeed sitting in playoff position, an unlikely spot to say the least. David has questions about how this lineup continues to produce, and Dan wonders just how good this bullpen could end up being.
