  • Yaya / Sisterhood
    Mar 4 2025

In the realm of creativity, the bonds we forge with others can be as significant as the artistic expressions we create. The recent episode of the More Than Graphics podcast, hosted by Danielle, Priscilla, and their guest Francesca, delved into the theme of sisterhood—a topic that resonates deeply within the tech and creative industries, particularly for women and minorities. Through their discussion, it became evident that sisterhood not only fosters a sense of belonging but also serves as a catalyst for creativity and meaningful connections.

Sisterhood, as articulated by the hosts, is more than just a supportive network; it is a powerful force that nurtures individual and collective creativity. The hosts shared their personal reflections on sisterhood, drawing inspiration from cultural references such as the "Yaya Sisterhood." This connection to shared experiences and cultural narratives underscores the importance of community in the creative process. When women come together, they create a safe space where ideas can flourish, and vulnerabilities can be shared without fear of judgment. This environment encourages experimentation and innovation, essential components of creativity.
