Dr. Alderman is Research Fellow Emeritus in the Director General’s Office at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). He is an expert on the economics of nutrition and food policy, and his research focuses on the linkages between nutrition and early child development and the means by which nutrition and social protection programs contribute to long-term economic growth. In this episodes, he speaks about the importance of taking opportunities as they come to you, and obtaining an interdisciplinary skillset.
