His approach blends numerous leadership and healing methodologies to produce lasting change in the mind and body. In just his first three years as an actor, he appeared in over 75 short films. He also wrote, produced, and performed a vulnerable, 90-minute one-man show, I Do, Mom, exploring his personal journey with his mother. • The 13-Inch Journey Between the Head and the Heart w/ Sandi Lynn - Episode 40
    Jan 22 2026
This episode of the PURPOSE FINDER PODCAST is a powerful reminder that purpose does not fade with age. In many ways, it deepens. I sit with my dear friend Sandi Lynn, who is living fully in what she calls her fourth quarter, yet shows up with joy, curiosity, and energy. Her life reflects what it looks like to stay engaged, connected, and open to what is still possible, even in seasons many assume are meant for slowing down. Sandi shares honestly about the journey between the head and the heart, what she calls the thirteen inch journey. Over the years, and especially during her time as a caregiver for her husband, she learned when to lean into logic and when to surrender to feeling and faith. During the global shutdown, she found unexpected space to slow down, grow, and enroll in a year-long transformational program that supported her through grief, caregiving, and deep personal reflection. We talk openly about loss, including the ending of a role she believed would be her long term purpose work. That loss was painful and disorienting, yet it revealed an important truth. Purpose is not attached to a single job, title, age, or season. When one door closes, the calling does not disappear. It simply begins to take a new form, often one we could not see at first. In this season of her life, Sandi has become deeply intentional about how she lives and leads. She focuses on what matters most, structures her days around her core priorities, and refuses to believe that purpose and joy cannot coexist. After years of caregiving, she has reclaimed fun, connection, rest, and creativity without guilt, showing that meaningful work can be life giving rather than draining. This conversation is for anyone navigating transition, grief, or the question of what comes next. Sandi’s story reminds us that as long as there is breath, there is purpose. When we stay willing to listen, trust, and live from the heart, every season, including the later ones, can still be rich with meaning, movement, and joy. In the hospitality and meetings industry, Sandi coined the widely adopted term ROO (Return on Objective) and contributed to the Convention Liaison Council Manual, helping shape accessible and strategic meeting practices worldwide. • Reluctant Yes, Relentless Faith with Pastor Joshua Williams - Episode 39
    Jan 15 2026

What if purpose isn’t the thing you’re excited about but the thing you’re obedient to, even while hoping god chooses someone else?

In this episode of the Purpose Finder Podcast, I sat down with Pastor Joshua Williams for a conversation that stayed with me long after we wrapped.

We didn’t rush purpose or try to make it sound pretty. We talked about what it’s really like to say yes when you’re unsure, conflicted, and still figuring things out. We talked about obedience that isn’t loud or confident but real.

Josh shared how his yes to leadership wasn’t clean or exciting. It was Jonah-like. Obedient, but reluctant. Faithful, but wrestling. Saying yes while quietly hoping God might change His mind.

    And still the purpose unfolded.

Not because everything made sense. Not because he felt ready. But because he stayed and kept showing up.

If you’ve ever felt called and confused at the same time… If you’ve ever said yes while still questioning… If you’ve ever wondered why purpose doesn’t always feel inspiring…

This conversation is for you. Timestamps:

  • New Year. New Standards. Breaking Cycles on Purpose with Charisa Munroe-Wilborn - Episode 38
    Jan 2 2026

The start of a new year invites reflection, but this episode calls for a decision.

This is not a conversation about resolutions or reinvention. It’s a call to carry yourself differently as you step into a new year with intention, clarity, and courage.

In this powerful New Year release, Charisa Munroe-Wilborn invites listeners to break cycles intentionally, not accidentally. Cycles formed by past decisions, delayed obedience, misplaced emotional access, and patterns that quietly keep us stuck. This episode challenges you to stop letting yesterday’s habits dictate today’s choices and instead, choose patterns that produce momentum, peace, and purpose.

This is an episode about three things: identity, obedience, and emotional authority. About no longer settling for unmet goals and unmet expectations and then apologizing for them. About choosing differently so you don’t have to explain later.

  • Ending the Year Unstoppable: 7 Courageous Decisions That Shift Your Life Now w/ Charisa Munroe-Wilborn - Episode 37
    Dec 26 2025
You are here, and I am so glad you are. As this year comes to a close, I want to invite you into a personal conversation. In the episode, I share my reflections and the seven courageous decisions I am making as I conclude one year and step into the next season of life. I titled this episode Ending the Year Unstoppable because we do not become unstoppable someday. We decide to become unstoppable now. This is not about resolutions or waiting for January, it is about making choices before the year ends that shift who we are, how we think, and how we move forward in purpose. I walk through what I call the Seven (7) Courage Decisions That Shift Your Life and speak honestly about how procrastination, perfectionism, and waiting for the right time hold us back. Excellence moves. Perfection stalls. Once I chose excellence over perfection, doors began to open. Ask yourself what you are still waiting for: clarity, confidence, approval, permission? The instruction has not changed. God is still saying start. Courage Decision Six is the decision to raise your standard. Who you are becoming is what the world will experience. Raising your standard means no longer settling for mediocrity in how you think, show up, and protect your time. For me, this means recommitting to my health, discipline, and consistency as a wife and mother of two. You do not rise to the level of your goals, you rise to the level of your standard. Courage Decision Seven is the decision to believe bigger not based on proof, but on trust in the God who placed purpose inside you. Bigger belief fuels movement, even before the outcome is visible. You do not need applause or validation, you only need belief. I invite you to create a purpose contract with yourself: I choose courage. I choose purpose. I release what no longer serves me. I start what God told me to start. I raise my standard. I believe bigger. This episode is an invitation to clarity, courage, and action. Decide now who you are becoming. Becoming unstoppable is not a personality trait, it is a choice, a lifestyle, and a commitment to purpose. • Uncovering What’s Within with Dr. John Tyus - Episode 36
    Dec 22 2025
There’s a moment in every conversation where someone says something that makes you stop… and lean in a little closer. Today’s episode has a lot of those moments. Because when my guest said, “In the preparation, there was hurt. And even after all the preparation… there were still ten years of pain,” that’s when I knew this wasn’t just another story about purpose. This was about the kind of pain people don’t post about. It was the kind of pain you carry quietly, while still trying to lead, love, provide, and show up. And then he said something that stayed with me long after we stopped recording: “Out of this pain, I’m squeezing out passion. Out of this pain, I’m finding purpose.” And suddenly, everything clicked. Because purpose isn’t born on mountaintops. Purpose is squeezed out in the dark. in the years you think God forgot your timeline, the years you think everyone else is moving while you’re stuck, the years you think you’re preparing, but really, He is preparing you. And today’s guest, Dr. John Tyus, lived that. The pain. The waiting. The anxiety. The moments of “God, do you even see me?” The moments where home felt hard, marriage felt heavy, and identity felt shaken. Yet somehow, out of all of that came The I.D. Movement. Came the ministry he now leads. Came the book he’s writing. Came the man he has become. This episode holds wisdom born from failure, faith, surrender, and maturity. And it carries a message every man needs to hear: it’s in you. It has always been in you, but only God can unlock it. Once you find Him, you find yourself. Once you pursue Him, purpose begins to pursue you. • From Civil Rights Roots to Healing and Wellness: Dwania Kyles’ Story - Episode 35
    Dec 11 2025
On today’s episode of the Purpose Finder Podcast, we’re exploring a story shaped by faith, family, creativity, and history. Our guest grew up in a home where music and art were the heartbeat of daily life; her father directing choirs, her mother dancing, her siblings singing. Creativity wasn’t a performance; it was her family’s foundation, and it would later become her place of healing. Her name is Dwania Kyles, and long before she understood the language of healing, she lived through one of the most pivotal moments in American history. At just twelve years old, she was helping prepare a simple pre-rally dinner for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in a house full of movement leaders, food cooking in the kitchen, kids setting tables wherever they could. Meanwhile, her father was at the Lorraine Motel, talking and laughing with Dr. King minutes before the shot was fired. He was the first to reach him. And at home, all she remembers is her mother’s scream when the phone call came, and the grief that filled their house. For years, Dwania carried the unspoken trauma of that day, her father’s nightmares, the fear of him traveling through dangerous states, and the silence that settled over their home as a form of protection. It wasn’t until adulthood, through breathwork and emotional healing, that she finally began to understand what her twelve-year-old body had been holding for decades. Today, Dwania shares her story with us, not just as history, but as healing. She is a storyteller, a creative, and a guide whose depth and wisdom were shaped by a life few could ever imagine. And I believe her words will stay with you long after this episode ends. S. Supreme Court on Brown v. Board of Education. Ms. Kyles is also the eldest daughter of pioneer civil-rights activists, the late Gwendolyn Kyles and Rev. Samuel “Billy” Kyles, subject of the ’09 Oscar & ’10 Emmy nominated documentary, The Witness: From the Balcony of Room 306, that gives voice to her father’s memories, who on April 4, 1968, was the only other person on the balcony, with Dr. Martin Luther King when he was fatally shot, as she, her mother and siblings were prepared to receive Dr. King and the SCLC staff at their home for dinner. An innocent participant of these two historical, yet traumatic events as a 5 and 12-year-old, it stands to reason why Ms. Kyles’ commitment to helping others connect or reconnect with their inner healer has been a lifelong passion. That same commitment paved the way on her personal journey to health and healing over the past 40 years. As a wellness coach and educator, she seeks to inform on why the power of the breath, the belief system, laughter, and self-love are the first line of defense when on the path of true healing. • The Moment Purpose Interrupts You with Amb. Charlie Masala - Episode 34
    Nov 27 2025
There are moments when someone speaks and it doesn’t just inspire you. It interrupts you. It confronts the idols you didn’t even realize you were holding. It exposes where you’ve been leaning on people instead of leaning on God. And suddenly, something inside you whispers, “If God doesn’t show up… I’m done.” This episode is one of those moments. Because here’s what I’ve learned in my own journey: God wants you. Not your performance. Not your connections. Not your work. Just you. Today, I’m sitting down with Amb. Charlie Masala, a man who walked closely with my father, Dr. Myles Munroe, for more than 27 years, and someone whose life embodies faithfulness, loyalty, and the courage to follow God no matter the cost. Our conversation goes deep. We talk about obedience when it’s uncomfortable, serving when it’s unseen, navigating seasons of loss, and the moment God strips away every dependency so you remember who your true Source is. This episode will stir you, challenge you, and remind you of this simple truth that keeps echoing in my spirit: Nothing in your life can stand, not purpose, not calling, not vision, unless God is at the center of it.
