What if your prayers are smaller than they need to be?

In today's episode of Miracles of the Bible, we look at one of the boldest prayers in Scripture: the Sun Standing Still (Joshua 10:1-15).

Israel is facing a coalition of five enemy kings, and God is already fighting for them. He sends hailstones from heaven that do more damage than Israel's swords. But Joshua wants the victory finished, so he asks God, out loud and in front of the whole army, to make the sun stand still. And God does it.

The miracle is huge, but the boldness of the ask is what stays with me. Joshua had watched God show up again and again, so he expected Him to show up again. Our prayers are often small, not because God's power is limited, but because our expectations are.
