  • 3 Times She Should Have Died And What It Taught Her About Living) With Krysti-Glory Gallo
    Jul 13 2026

Krysti-Glory nearly died three times before the age of 35 and each time, she came back a different woman.

In this raw, unfiltered conversation, Krysti-Glory shares her journey through a rare autoimmune reaction to COVID that put her into a coma and left her paralysed from the waist down, a battle with a 1% desmoplastic melanoma in her early 20s, and a severe postpartum hemorrhage three separate "less than 1%" medical events that should have ended differently.

We talk about what it really means to survive versus to live, the generational trauma she carried from her mother and grandmother, learning to self-catheterize at 32, walking out of a hospital after doctors said she never would, and why she and her family are packing up their lives to start over in Italy.

This episode is heavy, honest, and deeply human a reminder that surviving hard things doesn't mean you have to be defined by them.

Krysti-Glory is the author of The Day I Died, available now on Amazon and Booktopia.

Trigger warning: This episode discusses medical trauma, depression, and generational trauma. Please take care while listening.

  • Building a Triathlon Community from Nothing, GC Social Tri Club & Enduro Strength Performance with Brandon Turton - #113
    Jul 6 2026

This week I sit down with the founder of GC Social Tri Club and Enduro Strength Performance, who went from an AFL background and PE teaching to building one of the Gold Coast's fastest growing triathlon communities from scratch. We talk about the early days of just two or three people showing up to a Wednesday night swim session, the decision to keep it free while building a coaching business alongside it, and what it actually takes in hours and sacrifice to get through a 70.3 or an Ironman. We also get into the role of community versus solo training, how AI fits into modern coaching without replacing it, and what's next as the club prepares to launch a second location overseas. A grounded conversation about starting something from nothing, staying consistent, and keeping the fun in the sport even when the goals get bigger.

  • Ultraman The Ultimate Triathlon, Hyrox, and How To Get Through Endurance Sports with Nat and Anthony Elder #109
    Jun 8 2026

This week Jordan sits down with power couple Tones and Nat for a deep dive into one of the most action-packed seasons we've heard on the show. Fresh off completing his second Ultra Man in Nusa a three-day, 10K open water swim, 420K of cycling, and a double marathon — Tones and Nat share what it actually takes behind the scenes: eight months of 20+ hour training weeks, precision nutrition managed by a world champion Ultra Man coach, and a crew that removed every ounce of decision-making so Tones could just race.

Then, days after crossing the finish line, they were on a plane to Icheon, South Korea, for HYROX Worlds where Nat and training partner Tony Lee took out the pro women's doubles, and Tones jumped in for a last-minute race of his own.

They get into the logistics of crewing a fully-supported race, why recovery fundamentals will always beat a fancy sauna, the truth about electrolytes, and what it really looks like when two athletes in the same household are both chasing big goals at the same time.
