In this episode, we talk about the day we got cable TV. The cable guy did not have great social skills, but neither did Roger. In this episode, we honor our fathers for Father's Day. Both of our fathers have passed but we wanted to celebrate them with some stories that respect their memory and pay deserved reverence for the men that they were.

We discuss our dads' ability and willingness to address function over form, their ingenuity and engineering skill, and being good role models. Included: One dad defies convention by selling Avon while the other addresses our tendency to "sport cuss" at a young age with a restrained act of behavior modification that made it's point without a single word being spoken.

Join us this time as we talk about the era when going to McDonald's was a special treat and not an everyday thing. When we were kids, a meal at McDonald's was a big deal, not a convenience as it is seen nowadays. We talk about graduating to "big boy" status of getting a Big Mac instead of just a cheeseburger, Star Trek Happy Meals, McDonaldland calendars, a McDonald's Grand Opening that attracted half the town, and Roger trying to avoid getting in trouble by telling his parents his Big Mac may have had a previous owner.
