QCD, or quality cost delivery, used to be the standard but now there has been a shift to CDQ, or cost delivery quality. Whatever happened to quality? Without quality, you are adding cost to the long term. Consistent people yield better quality--in the words of Harold Dodge, "you cannot inspect quality into a product."
