• Peace In The Mist Of The Storm
    May 5 2026
Peace in the Mist of the Storm is a devotional built on John 10:10 (NKJV), where Jesus declares, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” In a world filled with wars, food shortages, disease, corrupt leadership, and constant instability, this devotional explores how it is still possible not only to survive, but to live in God’s promised abundance.
Building on the previous lesson about “testing ourselves,” this devotional reminds us that the good in our lives is not random or merely the result of systems “everyone” has access to—like a store rewards program—but the fruit of a living, obedient relationship with God. Many people have access to the same opportunities, and everyone has access to God, but not everyone lives by His instruction. The difference is how those who truly believe and continually abide in Christ respond to His leading.
Drawing from John 8:31–32, where Jesus speaks “to those Jews who believed Him” and says, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free,” this devotional unpacks three keys to experiencing abundant life in chaotic times: faith, obedience, and discipline.
Peace in the Mist of the Storm invites you to:
    • Recognize how God is already at work in your life.
    • Move from occasional, crisis-based faith to constant, daily fellowship with Him.
    • Learn how discipline in God’s presence produces a deep peace and joy that the world cannot shake.

As you walk through this devotional, you will see that while everyone may have access to God, only those who remain in His Word as true disciples learn to live in His abundance—steady, unbothered, and at peace, even in the middle of the storm.

  • Test Yourself!
    May 4 2026
“Test Yourself” is a devotional built on 2 Corinthians 13:5, where Paul urges us to “examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith.”
We are living in a season of chaos—soaring prices, sudden job cuts, constant uncertainty. Yet in the middle of this turbulence, those who truly belong to Christ are called to live by faith, not by sight. We may be rattled, but we are not destroyed; bent, but not broken.
This devotional invites you to honestly examine your heart and ask: Is my faith genuine? It will help you recognize the difference between merely claiming to be a Christian and truly trusting Christ in every storm. As you test yourself in the light of God’s Word, you will begin to see how Jesus has been with you all along—opening doors, providing daily bread, making a way when there seemed to be no way.
If, in that examination, you discover that your faith has been shallow or misplaced, that realization is not your end—it is your invitation. Right there, you can fall to your knees, cry out to God, and allow Him to lead you back to the path of true, living faith.
“Test Yourself” will encourage you to:
    • Examine your faith honestly and biblically
    • Recognize Christ’s presence and provision in hard times
    • Turn from deception and drift, and return to God’s path
    • Find peace, clarity, and courage as you anchor your life in Jesus

In a world shaking all around us, this is a call to be sure of what cannot be shaken: a genuine faith in Christ.

  • Don_t Worry Be Joyful!
    May 1 2026
Don’t Worry, Be Joyful is a devotional rooted in John 15:9–12, where Jesus reminds His disciples—and us—that when we keep His commandments, we remain in His love, and when we remain in His love, His joy becomes our own, overflowing from within. In a world filled with chaos, corruption, rising prices, and constant bad news, worry can feel like the only natural response. Yet that worry slowly cuts us off from the very joy and peace God longs to give us.
This devotional invites you to shift your focus from what is wrong in the world to who is still on the throne. As you choose faith over fear and confidence in God over anxiety about circumstances, you make room for the Holy Spirit to release love, patience, grace, mercy, and true joy in your life. Jesus commands us to love one another as He has loved us—and part of that love is refusing to let the enemy steal our peace, our joy, or our God-given moments of abundant life.
Don’t Worry, Be Joyful will encourage you to:
    • Remain in Christ’s love by trusting His word over what you see.
    • Overcome worry with faith in God’s power and goodness.
    • Rediscover the joy that cannot be taken by circumstances.
    • Live as a child of the Most High, enjoying the abundant life He promised.

Despite everything happening around you, you can choose to walk in His love, live in His joy, and truly enjoy the life God has given you.

  • Becareful To Who You Listen To!
    Apr 29 2026
Title: Be Careful Who You Listen To
    Foundational Scripture: John 10:1–5, 14–16; John 8:31–32
In John 10, Jesus describes Himself as the Good Shepherd and His followers as His sheep—those who recognize His voice and follow Him. He warns that thieves and robbers climb in “some other way,” coming only to deceive, steal, and destroy. Their voices do not lead to life, but to confusion, division, and destruction.
In our world, there are many voices that claim to tell us the truth—commentators, influencers, politicians, and even friends. When we constantly listen to them, we begin to see life through their words. Their opinions become our filters. We start to treat what they say as unquestionable fact, even when it misrepresents people and situations. We may end up judging others unfairly, writing off those who are actually trying to do good, or forming deep resentment and division in our hearts—all because we’ve allowed the wrong filter to shape our view.
Jesus offers a different way. In John 8:31–32, He says that if we remain in His teaching, we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. The only reliable filter for our decisions, our judgments, and our view of others is the truth that comes from Christ. His Word exposes lies, corrects false assumptions, and frees us from the manipulation and machinations of people.
There is a real enemy whose goal is to destroy us. He works by distraction and deception, planting ideas about others that are not grounded in God’s truth. When we listen more closely to those voices than to the voice of Jesus, we become vulnerable to division, fear, and hate.
This devotional calls us back to being true sheep of the Good Shepherd—those who know His voice, trust His Word, and examine every other voice through the filter of His truth. We are invited to lay down the filters built by media, culture, and human bias, and to let Christ alone shape how we see people, how we discern motives, and how we respond. Only His voice leads to life, freedom, and genuine love for others.

  • It is Due To The Lack Of Knowledge Part III
    Apr 27 2026
“The Lack of Knowledge – Part Three” continues our walk through Hosea 4:6, responding to questions and comments from social media about Part Two. In this devotional, we take a closer look at how believers often reject “worldly systems” simply because they were created in a broken world or seem designed to benefit the rich. We sometimes even use Scripture to justify never engaging with these systems at all.
But Hosea 4:6 warns that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge—not just spiritual knowledge, but practical wisdom as well. Just as the enemy can disguise himself as an angel of light, God can also use unexpected people, tools, and systems—even those we might not label as “Christian”—to bless and sustain His people. In Scripture, God used a donkey; today, He may use financial systems, reward programs, or other structures around us.
In this episode, I share a personal testimony about using a simple 1.5% cash‑back credit card and a grocery store promotion. By wisely using these tools, we’ve been able to save significantly on gas—paying less per gallon than many others and receiving over $30 in savings in a single month. These aren’t illegal tricks or prosperity schemes; they’re everyday systems that, when approached with wisdom and discernment from God, can relieve pressure in a season of rising costs.
This devotional challenges ministers, preachers, and believers alike: are we rejecting tools God might use to help us, simply because we’ve labeled them “worldly”? Or will we seek God’s wisdom, embrace knowledge, and allow Him to guide us—even through systems we once dismissed—so that He receives glory and our lives become less burdened?

  • It is Due To The Lack Of Knowledge Part II
    Apr 24 2026
Drawing from Hosea 4:4–6, “It’s Due to the Lack of Knowledge – Part Two” explores the critical difference between knowing of God and truly knowing who God is. In this devotional, we look at how God rebukes the priests and preachers who only had information about Him but no real relationship with Him—leaving them unable to reveal Him to the people. Yet even though God is angry with the spiritual leaders, the devotional makes it clear that the responsibility does not end with them. Each believer is personally accountable to seek God, move beyond secondhand knowledge, and build a real, intimate relationship. Like the man on the sinking cruise ship who rejects every rescue God sends and then asks why God didn’t save him, many of us live with a knowledge of God’s power but fail to recognize or respond to His hand in our lives.
This devotional also brings the lesson into a practical, real-world context through the way we handle money. Many Christians follow the familiar 10-10-80 rule—10% to God, 10% to savings, 80% to live on—because they know of God and want to honor Him. But those who truly know who God is open themselves to His wisdom in how to manage the remaining 90%. Using the example of credit cards with cash-back rewards, the devotional shows how someone led by God can use the same income in a wiser, more fruitful way—leveraging systems already in place and seeing greater increase, while another person, doing only what they’ve been told, sees very little growth. Same God, same amount of money, but radically different results. This is the gap between knowing of God and walking closely enough with Him to hear, trust, and follow His specific guidance in everyday life.

  • It is Due To The Lack Of Knowledge
    Apr 23 2026
We are not being destroyed because God has failed us; we are being destroyed because we are living without the knowledge He has already provided. In Hosea 4:6 (NKJV), God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” This series, It’s Due to the Lack of Knowledge, explains that this is not about simple facts like “1 + 1 = 2,” but about the life-giving wisdom embedded in the Word of God. Using the example of sugar, we see how this works in everyday life: overly processed white sugar is toxic to the body, and many “zero sugar” products replace it with man‑made chemicals like sucralose that the body does not know how to process—another form of poison. Meanwhile, naturally processed sugar, kept closer to how God created it, retains minerals and can benefit the body when used properly. Instead of returning to what God originally designed, the world often just replaces one harmful option with another, leaving us choosing between two bad choices and never realizing that God’s good design was available all along.
This devotional introduces a larger series in which we will expose the many ways we may be “perishing” simply because we don’t know, or don’t apply, what God has already said. We will contrast the world’s wisdom with God’s original intent and learn to return to Scripture for practical guidance in every area of life—our bodies, our minds, our decisions, and our relationships. The problem is not that answers don’t exist; it’s that we have not sought, received, or honored God’s answers. As we walk through this series, we will see that God’s knowledge is not restrictive but protective, restorative, and life-giving. We do not have to be destroyed. The knowledge of God is available, and when we embrace it, we move from quiet destruction to intentional, God-directed living.

  • Beware Of The Fool!
    Apr 22 2026
“Beware of the Fool” is a devotional built on Psalm 14 and Psalm 1, where God clearly defines a fool: “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” This isn’t just about ignorance—it’s about a willful refusal to understand and submit to God. A “stupid” person may simply lack knowledge and make wrong choices because they don’t know better. A fool, however, often does know better but chooses rebellion, unbelief, and a life lived as if God does not matter. Psalm 1 then shows the contrast: the blessed person delights in God’s law and becomes like a tree planted by streams of water, while the fool sits in the seat of scoffers and pulls others away from that path.
This devotional helps you discern that crucial difference and recognize how fools operate in your daily life. Their aim—whether they know it or not—is to distract, drain, and derail God’s work in you. One conversation with a fool can siphon off inspiration, clarity, and desire to obey what God has just stirred in your heart. Through these readings, you’ll learn to identify fools, guard your focus, and protect what God has deposited in you, while also confronting any traces of foolishness in your own heart. “Beware of the Fool” calls you to walk in wisdom, choose your associations carefully, and stay aligned with God’s divine purpose for your life.
